I use a Fitbit also and while it is great for daily activity tracking and step tracking it cannot accurately track the intensity of a cardio workout. I always use a Polar heart rate monitor for my actual workouts.

My vote is for the One. I have had the Ultra, then the Flex, and now the One. I found the Flex was difficult to use at times and not as accurate as the Ultra I had been using previously. I highly recommend Polar heart rate monitors. I use the FT-60 and I love it.

I had problems with irritation with the Fitbit Flex. I had them replace it with a Fitbit One and I am very happy.
