I tried Adios which say they increase your metabolism - I definitely don't recommend them! I got heart palpitations (occasionally still do), couldn't sleep and it was pretty scary. I'd never try anything like that again. Diet and exercise is the way forward. Good luck with your journey.

This is exactly what I'm going to do. I've gained 5lb since sp (I won't tell you what I call them!!) came in because as soon as I see that I've gone into deficit everything goes out of the window and I gorge on chocolate, cake, anything I can get my hands on - it's so demoralising to see a deficit when I've eaten healthily…

I am the same every Monday I'm up - but by Wednesday it's gone again (providing I'm sticking to it!). It's not real weight. My husband also seems to be able to eat what he wants all week and not work out and still lose after just one workout. He then has the cheek to moan that he's not losing if he's only lost 1lb - whilst…

So I did my fit test this morning - I didn't get much sleep last night and my legs were like lead thanks to my gym session yesterday, so I think I could've done better, but on the whole I'm pleased. Here's my results, wk 1/wk 3/wk 5 Switch Kicks = 47 / 60 / 64 Power Jacks = 31 / 39 / 35 Power Knees = 70 / 75 / 70 Power…

Exactly this for me too - even been doing Insanity and eating 1200 and not losing! When I go to 1000 I lose. I'm 5'4".

Woo hoo - I completed the first week of Insanity yesterday! It's flown by! I weighed this morning and I've lost a pound after being stuck for months so I'm really really chuffed! Hope it keeps working! The program will finish right before my holiday! Good timing for me! Dig deep everyone! :-D

Are you English or American? I'm English - and I know that in London they have a duathlon which is run/bike/run. Try searching the net to see if there's one near where you live? :-)

Defo Colin Farrell - he looks like Kevin Webster's long lost identical twin! (for the English out there!!)
