Lol oh dear, "fat enrobes the toxins".........

We have to watch our sodium intake at my house (diabetes/high blood pressure run in the family and we want to avoid both), so I use all of the sodium-free Mrs. Dash seasonings, they're all very good. Every once in awhile I use a little Old Bay or Italian seasoning. If I want BBQ chicken I cook thighs in a skillet skin-side…

I used those nicotine lozenges, and this sounds silly but I also cut a plastic drinking straw to cigarette size and used that as a substitute for the real thing. It helped. Good luck, I know it's hard to quit!

Also, many people want a quick fix. It didn't take only a month to gain the weight I'm now trying to lose, and it would be unrealistic of me to believe I can lose that weight in that amount of time. When I began to lose weight, people would ask what/how I did it. I would say by simply counting calories and getting more…

Ooh, those look great! I'd slice them and put in a salad with grilled prawns, candied walnuts, and feta cheese crumbles!

Same here. I have to limit myself to two drinks so I don't give in to temptation and order half the appetizer menu.

That's a nice suit, it fits you well and you look great in it!

Mussels with Old Bay-seasoned fries.

The new Wonder Woman movie. I'm not into superhero movies much, but it was pretty good.

Me too. Today I learned, lol...

I don't like plain Greek yogurt by itself, but I do love yogurt parfaits made with it and fresh berries, granola, and honey. I find Greek yogurt works best for me as a substitute for things like sour cream or mayonnaise in dressings and salads (I use it in place of mayo for tuna salad and potato salad, and as the base for…

Bless you. ;____;. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I use plain non-fat Greek yogurt and a little yellow or Dijon mustard.

Wheat germ. My mom went through a health food kick back in the 70s and put wheat germ on everything. We ate so much of that stuff back then, ugh.

Those bags of mixed carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli are very good roasted with some minced garlic, a tablespoon of olive oil, and salt-free seasoning like Mrs. Dash. Sometimes I add a small bag of new potatoes to the mix, just cut them into smaller pieces so they cook at the same rate as the veggies do.

I've been called several times but never chosen to be on a jury. One time they settled the case before selecting a jury, so we all got to go home without setting foot in the courtroom. Another couple of times (a murder trial where a guy in jail killed another inmate, and a guy got caught selling drugs in a park) I got as…

Looks like the same egg diet that was popular years ago, with a little tweaking. Back then you could drink black coffee with it too, lol.

Yes, college and NFL! As a Bengals fan I am cautiously optimistic for the new season but that usually doesn't work out so well for me, heh.
-
I will find a way, or I will make one.
-
You look just like my late father!

I like Sara Lee's 45 Calories & Deliteful whole wheat or multi-grain. 90 caloiries and 5 grams of fiber per serving.

Could also be someone who's bought into HerbalLife and isn't here for anyone pointing out the truth of it, lol.

Gin and overly oaked chardonnay.

Pretty sure it didn't come across as such. Just saying.
-
Petit fours and anything dark chocolate truffle-y.

You've only been doing this for one week. Look at it this way, it didn't take you a week to gain the weight, so it will take time to lose it. Just be patient and keep going, and you will see results. In weight loss especially, patience is a virtue.

Lol I wondered why there were so many comments in a thread about vinegar...

LOL i'lll have to try that. Op, I like Corona, Chang, Kirin, Sapporo, and hefeweisen. All of those are pretty light/crisp, but I also like Guinness, which is dark and more full-bodied.

Congratulations, and don't you just love that?
