Do you eat nuts or seeds? Lots of protein in them. But, our bodies actually don't need that much protein every day.. Were you told that you needed to up the protein by someone? How about just eliminating the meat? Go strictly raw/vegan. Try to eat TONS of greens during the day. Juice the kale with some apples and carrots. Kale Salad. Collard green wraps. Some nuts/seeds. Why do you have that specific goal? Because your profile pic looks awesomely strong!

What? No it's not. Tell that to some vegan athletes (Brendan Brazier, George Laracques, Arian Foster etc.) as well as those of us who have no problems. And it's not like you have to drown in protein. Animals EAT PLANTS AND GRAINS which is where your nutrients come from when eating animals. Go do some research.

I love kale!! I juice it with apples and carrots. I eat it raw-slice really thin and add it to thinly sliced cabbage, and make a salad with it. Just marinate in some agave or maple syrup with apple cider vinegar.

Yes well I guess most people just want to put their blinders on. You don't get a heart attack from eating fruits, vegetables, nuts and beans. Only foods that have cholesterol can do that to you..

Mum of 3 (under 5). I used to be a size 6 (before #3). I was running, doing yoga, jillian michael's dvds. Now I walk a lot. It's hard, but we can do it :) I also follow a vegan diet but have realized that I haven't been eating tons of veggies like before. Being so busy with 3 makes it difficult to always eat well..
