I'm just starting out my MFP journey again today - living in rural Maine we are already having flurries and mountains of snow are on the horizon. I am hoping C25K is something I can do on my treadmill to mix things up a couple days a week. - Thank you for a great post! It was informative and helpful to a beginner! :)

I was down 0.6lbs this week - but after a tumultuous week the one before that made me pretty happy. It's always nice to see that number dropping! I'm gunning for a -1.5 loss this week! Good luck all! :-D

MUSCLE DOES NOT WEIGH MORE THAN FAT. I started T25 then went on a two week vacation - goat back last weekend and am not on week two of alpha (started over) and I love it. My husband is also doing it and he enjoys it as well.

It's probably a combo of bloat/fat to be honest. We took a 10day disney trip last august. I gained 7 and my husband gained 5 while we were gone. I think it must be that, the reduction of just ... crap in my diet. I dropped soda, crap sugar, heavy breads, etc. :)

I've definitely upped the veggies and reduced the sugar/crap (pretty much living on water, lean protein, fruits, and veggies with some healthy fats at least one meal a day). Thanks!! :)

Inches are fantastic! Remember, a pound of muscle is much leaner than a pound of fat. Your initial changes may have you being fitter which won't change the scale much but will change your size.
