I think it depends how much weight you have to lose. For me, about 5 to 7lbs is a size down. I'm a UK 12 (US 8) and *nearly* a size 10 (US 6) after 5lbs loss.

I generally don't but then eat a few I've "saved" at the weekend. I think if I ate them all I'd not lose...

Fibre, protein, 15 percent of the daily value for vitamin C, 20 percent of the vitamin B6 and 20 percent of the potassium... But I take your point!

Of course it's not a "hard" concept... As I said in my post, I'm merely doing what other diets have advised me to do in the past. I assume this is because fruit and veg have vitamins and fibre and are extremely good for you. However, that doesn't mean I'm ruling out logging it permanently - hence posting this for others'…
