Ideally I get in 3 classes a week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, plus running 3-4 times a week and lifting 2-3 times a week. Lately I'm lucky to get 2 classes in due to a lingering back injury.

Depends on your diet, and what your goals are, I suppose. Me, I'm doing the low carb high fat thing, so those numbers are nuts to me. That being said, unless your husband is a dietician or physical therapist, he may not have any more valid data than you do.

Testing for blue belt in a week or two in WTF TKD. Also recently started Aikido, but I haven't done a Kyu test as of yet. Additionally, I was a brown-black belt in Kuk Sool under the Kuk Sool Won organization, but I stopped that in, I think, 1998 or so, and haven't touched it since.

I've been trimming numbers for both my Aikido class and my TKD class. That being said, we do a solid 20 minutes of sparring just about every class, so I know I'm getting the cardio in there. I have a FitBit on the way, I'm looking forward to getting a more accurate number to punch in.
