I have digestive problems and have just been recommended a certain type of probiotic which I have just ordered off Amazon. When reading the reviews it seems to of helped a lot of people with bloating. So a good probiotic supplement (not one of the drinks) could help if you suffer from it regularly.

Hey, that's good thinking. I'll get the OH to order me some stuff when I next need it.

Thanks, I've just ordered some. Only ordered the 1Kg of the Raspberry for now to try it, but I got 10% off with a couple of free samples.

hmm, sounds interesting, where do you usually get that from?

I don't have cheat days exactly, unless Im on holiday. But like a lot who have already posted, I have the odd meal maybe once or twice a month where I just eat what I want and enjoy it. I may pull back on calories a bit through the day so I don't feel so bad about it. We all still have to have a life afterall. I don't…

This is like the sugar in tea scenario. Probably just reducing the volume you use gradually would be the way to do it. As a youngster I lived in a household that used loads of salt, but I just cut down on every meal bit by bit. Now I hate salty food, It totally spoils the taste I think

^ This Also, low fat yogurt is loaded with sugar. I would rather have the extra protein, calories and fat in standard yogurt than have extra sugar that I could do without.

Im putting £2 in a jar for every 1lb I lose, as I want a new dressform. By the time I have enough money I will be buying the small size instead of the large. But once I meet my next goal of 30lb Im treating myself to some reflexology. I don't have any other goals decided just yet, I'll figure those out as I go along.

How about if you spread your treats from your 'cheat' day across the week a bit. That way you will be getting extra calories on a daily basis and your body will be able to settle into a rhythm, and its much more healthy and sustainable. A 'cheat' day can easily turn into 2 then 3, especially if you are miffed because you…

I have lost a total of 22lb now at a steady 1 - 2lb a week. Until the beginning of this week I havnt really paid much attention to my macros. But I decided that since settling into calorie counting I would look at this, so this week I have, and Ive lost 3lb, and feel tons better! Since increasing my protein and knocking…

45 days and 16lbs, is that all you have lost, not much for an 18 year old boy to be honest? I lost 15lbs in the first 28 days way back when I was 18 doing my first diet (and Im a woman). Now 25 years later it takes me 2 months to lose that

Ha ha ha I'm not showing you my knees, its tea time  But seriously, thanks for the replies. I just want to look ok in leggings, or wear a nice dress that's not maxi. I have a Callanetics book that has some good leg exercises in, time to dust that off I think.

OK, so perhaps my comment earlier was a little cheeky, but it does rile me to see any man treating his wife this way. If you wash and cook for him, then perhaps one weekend after he comes home, drop the kids on him and go out for a walk, and dont do his washing/ironing or dont cook him any meals. When he complains, just…
