The biggest thing I've learned is how eating junk food is utterly ridiculous. Comparing the amount of calories in a small amount of junk that is the same amount to a large helping of something healthy... I would have to be a fool to eat junk food again.

Do both.

@deksgrl, make sure I squeeze in as much protein as possible in my 1200-1300 calorie limit in an attempt to keep muscle mass/lean tissue.

I'm not a big eater, so 1200 doesnt leave me hungry. So you're saying no matter how hard I work in the gym and on the track, I wont lose ANY weight just because I eat 1200?

I understand, but I honestly feel that way. When I look in the mirror at my body, I dont like what I see. Thats why I've made changes to improve that image. When I see foods such as fries, burgers, ice cream, and others, I stay away from them because those same foods are what got me in this position of not liking what I…

They dont, because I ask for healthy options (since I want a healthy body). There are many healthy and better alternatives to cake for any occasion.

Even though an apple is a better choice, as long as she doesnt complain about how it is not good for her body and slows her fitness gains, then yes, she can eat the cupcake.

Everyone is taking what I said in the wrong way. My point was do not expect to have a healthy and good looking body if you feel the need to spoil it with bad foods in order to "keep your sanity". For example, if I want a healthy and well functioning car, I wouldnt put sugar, soap, soda pop, or other damaging substances…

If you took what I said as "tearing people down", then thats your own fault. All I said was eating foods that you know arent good for your body (which many people do on their "cheat day") is counter productive to living a healthy lifestyle that all of us are striving to have. And if you feel insane because you cant eat…

Since when is telling someone the truth (as you yourself stated) considered degrading them? So if I tell a student with a 1.0 GPA that he/she is failing school, I am degrading that person?

How can I take it off of private mode? I didn't know it was on private sorry

Not if he continues to stay discipline and stay on track. If he lets up and gets fat, then thats his fault and he deserves it for not being disciplined.

Why is that? I exercise twice a day (weight lifting in the morning and jogging in the evening) and eat 1200-1300 a day with no problem. I'm 200lb, 5'9, 23 year old male. I'm tired of being fat.

I wonder if that process will work for a male? I am eating 1400 calories a day while lifting weights in the morning and jogging in the evening each day. I am currently 200lbs, 5'9, 23 years old. I hope to lose 20-30 pounds in the next two months.
