When I become "tone", it was when my body fat and weight went down. Its exciting to be able to see your muscles working while you're using them, and seeing the definition in your body is a HUGE motivator to work harder

The human body is very weird to me... I'm 5'9, 200lb, 23 years old and lift 4x a week and run 3x a week, and 1200-1300 calories work fine for me. I attend college outside of my hometown, so I use cardio to get familiar with the new city I'm in. Doing cardio outisde in different areas adds variety to your workout, rather thn being a gerbil on a treadmill.

Whenever I feel like backsliding, eating junk food, or skipping workouts, I go into my bathroom and look in the mirror at the fat on my body. That immeidately gets me back on track.

You wouldnt consider pork rinds "bad food"? There are good and bad foods; which is the whole point behind having a "cheat" day to allow yourself to eat those "bad foods". Ask Dr. Oz whether he thinks there are no bad foods that humans shouldnt eat and see what he says.

Why eat bad foods when you can eat good ones? They are called "bad" foods for a reason.

If you want to be in shape, yes. Yes, you do. Thats like your boss saying "Oh, I wont count how many hours you worked, but I'll just pay you this arbitrary amount on your check". You need to count to see what and how much you're eating and to make gradual progress.
