I agree, that has worked for me...I raised my calories by about 500 a day and made sure I ate back my exercise cals which I wasn't doing before and I started losing again.

a blown out tire on the rim, golf clubs, a baseball, a wiffle ball and bat, a case of golf balls, jumper cables, a window screen (to block out the sun) a flashlight, tire jack, and a snow brush...I think that's it.

Dude.....you are a LONG way from Georgia  [/quote] Tell me about it!
-
I have flown over Georgia on my way to Florida, does that count? LOL

I only looked at a few days, the choices you are making are good, but you are not coming close to eating enough. You must try to come as close to your goal as possible. Because you are consistenly under 1200 calories, your body is going to go into starvation mode. Even when you exercise, you should be eating some or almost…

that will be a good problem to have...most of my clothes are getting too big for me now too!

THANK YOU!!!

I usually try to send them an encouraging message...if I don't hear back from them, I'll delete them.

I had a women next to me yesterday that might have bathed in perfume...it was really distracting while I ran on the treadmill!

thanks for this update. I have gone from not eating my calories back to trying to eat back as many as I can and I have started losing weight again after a plateau.

His metabolism...plus he uses all that food as fuel and burns it right off. If you notice there are alot of carbs, which he needs for training like he does. I'd like to see his workout regimen.

well for me its all about up beat and bassy music that pumps me up and gets my adrenaline going, so alot of hip-hop and rock.

I use mine as my scale, it is much more accurate than my actual scale. Plus I have the Wii Fit Plus game that I can exercise with if I don't feel like driving to the gym.

I wasn't eating mine back and I hit a plateau. I definitely think I wasn't eating enough and my body went into starvation mode. Now I try my best to eat as much back as I can...I lost 4 lbs last week, so I'm hoping that means I'm out of this rut!

I like almonds, myself. I also get Fiber One 90 calorie bars, for my sweet tooth to go along with fruit so I can mix it up. My favorite is definitely pickles though. Low or no calories...
-
very interesting...it makes sense to some extent. But I don't think I'll give up my gym membership over it! I just will use my determination and will power not to go out and eat a box of donuts after my work out!

feel free to add me! Good luck!

Feel free to add me...although I'm a guy, we are the same age and I also have 2 kids, FT job, etc.

I would not be so worried about building strength up yet, so much as implementing cardio and working on your food intake. When I started my journey at 289 lbs back in April I had similar issues. I walked alot and ran a bit on my treadmill, did some cardio DVD's and along with reducing my caloric intake to around 1,500…

I suck at push-ups! HA HA! there are plenty of women who could kick my *kitten* and good for them! LOL

I lost my job back in February and that's what really kickstarted my journey. I didn't want to sit around and gain more weight. I have a treadmill too...and an ab lounger. I also did some DVD's (Hip Hop Abs!) and I took the kids to the park and walked alot. Once I plateaued though and went back to work I decided I needed…

YES! I feel like I'm going all the time. My co-workers must think I have a problem!
-
Congratulations! That is very inspiring!
-
I bring a can of almonds to work with me....they are good fat blockers! I also have Fiber One 90 calorie bars and fruits like bananas as well. I'm a big fan of pickles too because typically they are zero calories or at worst 5 cals per.
-
so sorry to hear that! We have a beautiful calico and we would be crushed if anything happened to our sweet Belle! Like any loss, try to think of the good memories you've had and hopefully it will get better soon!

walking or running is the way to go...create your own gym for ab workouts, etc. to tone up if that's what your into. Also, not sure if you have cable, but my cable service provides exercise videos On Demand.

I actually look at people's diaries before I make comments like that typically. Most of my friends I know their situation so I feel comfortable commenting the way I do. But you do bring up a valid point.
