I stick to a low fat diet and really stay as close to my calorie goal as possible, particularly when exercising. Avoid Applebee's!! HA HA...I think restaurants tend to over season their meals for flavor and all the seasonings are high in sodium. You could always ask the waiter or waitress how the meal is prepared and whether or not they can make it more "plain" for you and you could always add a more reasonable portion of salt?

It sounds to me like your body is going into starvation mode due to the fact that you are not eating enough calories. I went through the same thing. you should try eating 5 or 6 meals throughout the day not going more than 3 hours between those meals. Make the first one a little bigger but just don't go too crazy and that should help with the munchies. Mine always come at night when I get home from work. at your size and current weight I think you should be looking at losing about 1/2 lb a week with somewhere between 1800-2000 calories a day maybe?
