I am a sweets eater too. I keep a bag of carrots and cut up celery with me and munch on a few of those along with a lot of water. My best advice is to purge your house of all sweets. For me it's ice cream, love that stuff.

I completely stopped eating all sweets. No cookies, cakes, ice cream, granola bars etc. Not even a nibble. If I eat even a half of a cookie I seem to crave sweets for the rest of the day. I'm losing about 3.5 pounds a week and I'm not really hungry anymore.

You look great. I agree with you on the sleeping. If I only get 4 or 5 hours of sleep I crave carbs all day and I have no energy to work out. We should all do our bodies a favor and sleep 7 - 8 hours every night.

Rather than reach for the pills start drinking water and lots of it. I drink a bottle of water as soon as I get up in the morning whether I'm thirsty or not, even before my coffee. It really helps to curb your hunger.

I'm on a low carb diet and I've been doing really good. I've also been doing cardio for 30 to 60 minutes a day. A few years ago I was drinking something with a tsp. of cinnamon in it everyday and my skin started changing color. I do eat a lot of carrots too, maybe that's why I always look tanner than every one else.

I started by cutting out sweets completely 4 days before I got serious about this. That alone stopped my cravings for bad carbs. Then on my first day I walked 1.5 miles on the treadmill and drank 15 glasses of water to further kill my appetite. It really helped to boost my initial success.

Sometimes I hover around 1,000 calories because I just haven't been very hungry. Since I cut out breads and sweets, and drink 12 to 14 cups of water a day my cravings have completely stopped.

I usually eat 3 slices of turkey bacon microwaved, a sliced apple or two hard boiled eggs and grapefruit.

I'm eating 1200 to 1350 calories per day and that is just about right for me. I use the treadmill for 45 to 60 minutes a day at a fast walk 3.8 and I'm losing weight fairly easily.

Don't get discouraged by the scale. You could be building up muscle and as others have said when you start an exercise program your body has to adjust. Just keep doing what you are doing. I have to lose about the same amount so you are definitely not alone. I've already lost ten pounds so it doesn't seem so bad now. Like others said think in smaller increments instead of the entire number. I'm losing ten pounds at a time.

I'm burning about 400 calories a day using the treadmill for an hour and 20 to 25 minutes of weight lifting. The more weight you lose the less calories you will be burning.
