That's awesome!!! Good work :)

I'd stick to measurements at first... if you weren't normally a person to work out you're probably building muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat:flowerforyou:

Congrats!!! That's awesome:laugh:

Thanks!!! :flowerforyou:

These sound great!!

I drink A LOT of water too! I have a water bottle at my desk that is 36 oz. I usually drink a couple of those. I'm not sure if it hinders your weight loss to drink that much water, but I'd love to know what others think of that!!!

Welcome!! I love summer / bikini weather too!!

It's normal to loose like that when you just start working out... you're weight will fluctuate a bit while you gain muscle and loose water weight. Good luck and welcome to the site!! :flowerforyou:

Welcome! This site is great! Logging my food intake has made a WORLD of difference for me :flowerforyou:
-
Nuts and cheese are good! One of my other favs is eggs! I've been able to loose the most with low carb/high protein combo. Do your best to at least have 1200 cals a day:flowerforyou:
-
I'd say increase your calorie intake a bit, but continue to exercise. I stay between 1100 and 1200 cals a day, so when my weight loss stalls this usually helps. I usually increase to around 1300. Good luck!!

MGD 64 is my new fav! I'm holding off on the alcohol until I hit my goal though.... mostly just because I feel healthier, but don't get me wrong.... I love my drinks:laugh:
-
I agree... I love apples and pears! I used to add crasains too, but they are high in sugar! I also like Purdue short cut chicken on mine.... soooooo easy for work!
-
That's awesome!! Good for you and thanks for the encouragement:flowerforyou:

I agree... log everything you eat. Also, I don't eat my exercise cals. I know people say your supposed to, but that doesn't make sense.... cals in vs. cals out!
-
No, those are the best to be over! Are you over in fat or sodium? If not, what are you eating!? I need more protein, but I find it hard to not go over in sodium. Thanks!
-
I love cheerios and multi grain cheerios!
-
I'd say being over in protein is probably the best place to be over!! I'm trying to increase my protein intake, but I can never seem to do it! CONGRATS!

Hi there! I'm getting close to my weight goal too... it gets harder when you're closer to a healthy weight! My main suggestion would be to switch up your routine. If you've been constantly eating 1200 cals try to boost it to 1300 for a few weeks. Change your exercise intensity too. These things have worked for me so far!…

I haven't stopped at the vending machine all week! Haven't had any chocolate :) (Although... I did purposely leave my money at home)
-
Hey there! I'm doing the 30 day shred too! I LOVE it! I started mixing it up with my other work out routines though. Now I switch off everyother day with running/elliptical and 30 day shred workout. Good luck! You can do it:flowerforyou:
-
That's awesome!!! I was thinking about that too... I need a measuring tape... and NOW!! Haha..... congrats:laugh:

Me too! I have an amazing boyfriend.... except he's not too supportive when I try to take time to work out and eat right. It's a challenge! I come here for support because these people remind me why I'm doing this!!! Good look and lets stick together :flowerforyou:

I'm 25.... 3 years removed from college... and I have the same problem with one of my friends!! She also tries to make me go out for fast food, etc when I'm doing well. Sadly, these people won't change unless THEY want to... and clearly they don't. My best advice would be try to focus on how good YOU feel and how well YOUR…

I agree with Wstjohn! The ONLY way I could stop eating vending machine candy bars during the day was to leave my cash at home.... and bring healthy snacks to work. What do you really need cash for anyway! Everywhere you go takes debit...... except the vending machine:laugh:

Someone posted this link on another message board : http://www.healthdiscovery.net/links/calculators/calorie_calculator.htm I love it because it factors in height, etc!! Give it a try and see what it recommends. (FYI My carbs are lower than this too, but it's helpful for fiber, etc).
-
:flowerforyou: I log everything to! That's the best way to see how everything adds up! I log it the day before... that way I can add foods or cut back if needed! It helps me stay on track
-
Personally I think the recommendation they use for carbs is way too high, but it's personal preference:laugh:

I run and use the elliptical... I think the elliptical burns more calories, but I like the variety!
