I would make the same recommendations. Maybe try slowing down. You might now realize how fast you are actually going. I know most of the time I don't. I don't log cleaning. However, I did log the 3 hours of gardening I did a couple of weeks ago. I felt justified in adding that. Logging cleaning as calories burned to me is desperate and is part of your normal activity in the first place.

Didn't get to start Week 3 yesterday as the rain started and I'm just not ready to run in rain yet! :tongue: Today is my rest day and I doubt I can get a run in Thursday as it's giving 15-20 mm of rain! I really need to get back into this! :grumble: :frown:

I'm getting ready to run my first 5k on Sept. 13. My goal is to run the whole thing (I'm on Week 3 of a C25K app right now), finish in about the middle of the pack and be able to still stand when done and not want to collapse! :laugh:

Thanks everyone :smile: I am going to do some experimenting and see what happens. I did change my status to "light activity" and it now gives me 1660 calories. I do the "eat back what your burn" calories as I can't quite understand who to calculate my TDEE and to me the other way is just a lot easier!

Perfect weather day to go running yesterday. So did I. Nope. :grumble: I will get back on track with everything this week, starting today! On Saturday I did gardening for 3 hours and did my training run. I ended up burning abut 865 calories that day. Since by supper time I had about 1,000 calories left, I made myself a bacon cheeseburger with fries. I haven't been able to get any running or walking in the last few days. I've developed a bad cough and haven't had the energy to do it. Medicine finally seems to be starting to work, so hopefully I can tomorrow!
