  • If your therapist isn't supportive then maybe you should consider interviewing other ones. Have you search your local areas for free counseling services or support groups to join?
  • Are you eating enough during the day and drinking plenty of water? The way I stopped the late night and midnight eating is when I ate more food during the day along with drinking plenty of water. I didn't go over my calories limit, I just ate most or all of them before 7pm.
  • Have you discuss this with your therapist? I think it would be a good place to start.
  • I know the feeling because before I got serious about my weight loss, I hope myself to over 200 pounds. LOL! You should consider using the site to track in order to see what combination of exercise, food, and water works for you in order to lose weight. If 1600 is too much then cut back a bit until you see results. Once…
  • I track my food, exercise, and water on this site. My advice is to try it both ways and see which one works for you.
  • You have to be careful with the numbers this site gives back as exercise calories. Regardless of those so-called exercise calories, I limit my calories to a certain amount a day in order to create a calorie deficiency to lose weight.
  • What was your routine when you were losing weight? Did you lose fast enough that if you go back to that, you would lose enough to fit into your dress in time?
  • This is the way it works for me, too.
  • It helps to make on-the-go meals at home before leaving out of the house. Many items at restaurants are loaded with weight gaining ingredients. I have found it to be very helpful to plan ahead of time. I go out to lunch with co-workers and family members several times a month but I plan ahead. I search the menus online and…
  • Peoples’ body types are different so the routine that works for some people may not work for others. It all boils down to the routine that works for each individual person. I know people who lost weight by not eating breakfast, eating once a day, not exercising, and not drinking plenty of water. Heck, I even know people…
  • Here is a list I found on the Internet but I highly suggest that you check out the ingredient labels of the product before buying: • Pepperidge Farms whole grain honey oat • Nature's Own Sugar Free 100% Whole Grain bread • Nature's Own -Honey 7 Grain • Nature's Own 100% whole wheat • Martins Potato breads and rolls…
  • Oh, that's awful! It's a shame some schools still haven't caught up to better healthy eating. I don't know if it would do any good but you could discuss this with the person in charge of the dining hall. Is there a way you could get to a market to buy some healthy food to store in your room even if it's a little at a time?
  • You are correct. Give your muscles time to adjust and you will see the number on the scale drop again. If not, change up your exercise routine. You should challenge your body with a switch up in routine when you reach a plateau. The good thing is you are still losing. Yay!
  • I love popcorn but you are correct. You could get tired of the same snack if you eat it too much. Besides the snacks already listed, how about some no or low salt pretzel nibblers or bites?
  • Although I am new to this board, I am not new to tracking. My biggest lesson was realizing I ate far more calories than I thought I consumed. Tracking forces you to be accountable for the food you eat.
  • Lol! I am open to be friends with anyone who needs support.
  • Wow!...that is great! Tracking is very good! Keep up the good work. Come back often and motivate the rest of us. Have you changed your exercise routine or your foods? It's natural for the body to plateau so think about the best way to joint it a little.
  • It is going to take some time to get back to your pre-injury condition so take it easy on yourself. Do you think you should start back walking then work your way up to running? Are you logging your food and activities along with your water intake? You can do this!
  • Hello Awesome and Cutie. LOL! I made a commitment to start this weight loss program again and not stop until I get it right. Feel free to add me as a friend because I sure need some, too.
  • I searched Google for the best free online weight loss sites and this one came up in the list. I have already tried some of the others sites so I decided to try this one, too. I joined today and hope it works. Several of my co-workers also recommended this site. Good Luck to you all!
