I asked my trainer this question just yesterday. What she has me do is 8 minutes of cardio to warm up ad get my heart rate up at the start of my workout. Just read one of my "pet peeve" expressions in this thread...MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT. Wrong. A pound of feathers and a pound of cement weigh the exact same amount- 1 pound. I think what you mean is that a pound of muscle is denser and takes up less area than a pound of fat.

You bring up an interesting point. There are those who say that 30 minutes of intense cardio per day is plenty and anything over that amount isn't really benefitting you. Anyone have thoughts on this??

I've never been pregnant and have wondered as well BUT, in the case of very heavy women, sometimes their bodies aren't working correctly until they lose weight and bam, it happens. Prior to that, they may have never felt the need for birth control.

As other's have said, just enter it as Strength Training in the Cardio section. While you can enter your separate exercises, it doesn't count any of the calories burned and it's very time consuming to enter. My favorite cereal is Raisin Nut Crunch but right now, for health reasons, I am eating Cheerios. I have it with splenda and skim milk and cut up a small banana in it. It makes a great supper if you have eaten your main meal at lunch.
