I'm 5'4" and my goal weight is 140-145. I don't think i could get down any lower without losing muscle. So ya, 140 would be awesome!

Just counting calories, portioning my food in general. I am only getting started on my weight loss journey but I have always ate quite healthy, little did I know I was probably eating 2x or 3x what I should have been. So ya, portion control.

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. I know I should quit, because it's a deadly addiction, but I love to smoke so much. I am going to be training to run a half marathon soon and I know I would do so much better if I quit smoking. How can i convince myself to want to quit? That's my problem, I don't want to quit. I just know I…

Yes!!! I love the foam roller, for real. Whenever I have access to one after a run, I will use it. Love the feeling , it only hurts for me if I haven't rolled it out in awhile.

BOTH!! The more muscle you build, the more calories you will burn while resting, plus you'll have a toned body for once you start dropping some serious weight. Win-win situation.

Well, I've only been taking it for a few weeks, I have noticed that it cleans out my system, but some days I also feel like it makes me bloated. Ugh. I'm going to give it a few months at least, hopefully it will bring down my body fat % a bit, we'll see what happens :)

Thanks so much for all of the replies!! I do use a towel to wipe the sweat, because I'm always soaked. BUT since that is possibly the culprit , I will focus on patting my face dry instead. Awesome. :)

Hi there, I'm 25 years old, 5'4", very active and currently 154lbs, alot of muscle in there but I'm looking to get down to 143 or less. Feel free to add me if you're serious about losing some weight!

Oh.. and my knees crunch and click all the time too, it's quite loud actually- it tends to gross people out haha. But for me it stems from knee surgeries and the scarring in the tissue from that, which is why I take glucosamine myself.
-
Yes, strengthen the hips and you will notice a difference in how your knees feel. Also, maybe look into taking Glucosamine, it helps build tissue, arthritis prevention, etc.

Done & Done for 15min. Now what do I log it under? I can find the step machine in the database.. or i could be blind.. possibly blind. ..?!

I don't see why you would, unless you were in maitenance mode. All of the calories that I burn at the gym, I don't want back! :)

I tend to focus more on inches for my fitness goals, but for a weight goal.. I would love to see 140lbs on the scale.

Awesome, I'm new to the forums, and this is the first challenge I will be doing! Thanks

Your loss! My gain! haha, to each their own.

I used to prefer to go to the gym by myself, but then I started working out with my friend consistently about 5x a week (for the last few years) and I enjoy the gym so much more. It probably helps that we are on the same page as eachother when it comes to our fitness goals. But with that being said, whenever we start our…

Subway to me is a cheat meal. So many carbs- like 3/4 servings at once. Don't get me wrong, I love subway. I just try to only have it once in a blue moon. Plus the processed meats, cheeses, etc. It's not exactly a "clean" meal.

Not true at all. I use a weighted hula hoop and have for about 4 years now, I use the heaviest one you can buy and I have a small midsection, 27 inch waist. It won't make you bulky, it makes you tighter and therefore smaller. One thing I will say though, is a person shouldn't be using a weighted hula hoop for more than…
