Absolutely fabulous job! You should be so very proud of yourself for all your accomplishments. And thanks so much for sharing, you have such a wonderful and inspiring story to share. Gives the rest of us hope that we can make it too :-)

I get them sometimes as well. My father always used to make me drink pickle juice or salt water, because of sodium deficiency. It could also be a potassium deficiency. Try eating a banana before you work out or drinking some Gator-aid and see if that helps.

When I make tuna salad, I add half a tbsp. whipped salad dressing, finely sliced lettuce, an egg, and a tsp. of sweet relish. I eat it on toast or on a bagel thin. Delish :-)

I have a condition that causes me to pass out without warning sometimes and it puts some real limits on my exercising. I walk on a treadmill and I do a lot of chair exercises. I also use 2lb weights and do exercises in my chair. There are quiet a few videos on the market (I found some at amazon.com) with exercises you can…

I make a regular cup of coffee, and add my splenda and mix pumpkin pie spice in my non-dairy creamer then add it to the cup and drink it that way, sometimes I add cool whip and sprinkle more of the spice on top of that too. It's cheap and quick and easy :-)

Collin Raye "Love Me" Boyz II Men "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" Mercy Me "I Can Only Imagine" "I'll be Home for Christmas" all of these make me cry, though I'm sure there are many many others, these are the ones that came to the front of my mind the quickest :-)

Absolutely fantastic job. You are such an inspiration to us, and to your children who see that their Momma can do anything she sets her mind to. Congrats!!! :flowerforyou:

spinach and artichoke hummus and bagel thins are a must have on all of my grocery lists. I also love the laughing cow cheese wedges. I eat a lot of oatmeal too. Always have chicken and tilapia on the menu too.

Feel free to add me. I started out with 145lbs to lose and I've lost about 18 in 6 months. I have health issues that make it harder for me to lose faster, but I'm working through it. I'm trying to stay more focused on changing my life, and doing it slowly so that I will be able to maintain a life-style rather than just…

I love animals...my husband has forbidden me from bringing anymore strays home :-) 4 cats: Hope, Fuzz, Sassy, and Jaz 6 dogs: German shepard named Shadow, Black Lab named Harley, 3 mixed breeds named Nova, Brutus, and Bear and my inside baby Bobo who is a min. poodle. 2 parakeets, Turquois and Chirps and a 10 gallon fish…

Great ideas!!! I love Spinach and Chicken pita pockets. I just put a tablespoon of alfredo sauce or ranch dressing (preference) into a pita pocket, mix in left over diced grilled chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and mozarella cheese and bake. Quick, easy, and delish!

Sounds fantastic...I love eggplant but only knew one way to fix it. (sauted) Thanks for sharing!

I take zyrtec as well. My weight loss has been very slow, with ups and downs. I also take other medications for my blood pressure that when I researched I found...one is a beta blocker which causes your metabolism to slow and one is a calcium channel blocker which causes weight gain...so I'm fighting harder to lose what I…

Thanks so much for sharing this...I LOVE IT! The 80's rocked. I still have some clothes from the 80's but I'm no where near able to get back in them...YET! I'll take pictures when I do :-)

Suggest that your doctor request a Tilt Table test. I have a disorder called Vasovagal syncope, and that is just a big word for blood pooling in my legs. It causes my blood pressure to drop really fast when I'm standing too long because the blood isn't getting to m brain as fast as it should be, and I will pass out every…

That sounds wonderful, and its easy :-) Thanks for sharing!

Very well said. I agree with you completely. I am here to meet my goals, but I am also here to learn from others, and to help others along the way if I can. I don't understand the need to be negative, because I'm not a very negative person. I try to stay up beat and support others even when I'm feeling down. I guess some…

Thanks for sharing this. I've been researching and trying to learn as much as I can about exercising and making a full lifestyle change, and I know absolutely nothing about exercising effectively and safely so as not to hurt myself doing some exercises wrong. I can certainly use all the help I can get so thanks again for…
