Just tell them about your new lifestyle beforehand. Then when they see you eat little of their food, they will understand and not be offended by it. I say eat in moderation and plan on it before you go.

Awesome change! Congrats.

Congrats! What a great story. :)

Here is my before and after. The before was actually after losing a little, so I was 179 and not 185. The after was a couple weeks ago and about 157. I am 155 now.

I drink about 4 bottles of water. So about 64 oz's. I only drink water but it is still hard to drink near 100 oz's for me, I am just not a big "drinker".

I eat meat, but I choose fish before anything. I will sometimes eat chicken and very rarely eat red meat or pork. To me it is just about taste, I will eat chicken if I am at someone's house. But I usually make me a tilapia, when I am making chicken for my family.

Ok, I am going to post what 10 items for me only. Since I would use the 10 items for my kids before me. But for me only to last a week. 1. Tuna! I love tuna! 2. Eggs 3. Cucumbers 4. Broccoli 5. Bananas 6. Tilapia 7. Brown rice 8. Salsa ( I eat over brown rice and on hard boiled eggs) 9. Yasso frozen yogurt bars 10. String…

What a waste of a post.

Well, with my first I was a healthy weight of 145 before getting pregnant and I gained about 25 pounds. By 8 weeks after delivery I lost about 15 of it. Now, it took almost all the way to his first birthday for me to lose the last 10. But I wasn't as strict. With my second..I had slowly gained 15 pounds over the years and…

I am the opposite, my belly went down quickly. It is my thighs and legs that shrink last.
-
No, stopped months ago. I don't drink much stuff in the day, and when I drank my coke zeros, I was never thirsty enough to also have water. So I decided to stop, and now I can get all my water in.
-
I picked a weight that I looked great at before, but that doesn't mean that I won't lose more when I get there. Start with a weight, but know that you can change it later. :)
-
I am interested too, my legs/thighs are my last part to lose weight from.
-
5'8 here and my goal is 145. Only 10 pounds to go! Now once I get there, I may decide to go down to 135.

amount of cheese an average American eats in a year :)

I was motivated to begin with by old pics of me. I was fit before my second pregnancy, and I always looked and wished I could look like that again. Now I am motivated by looking at my old pics from before March of this year. I never want to be at that weight again. It keeps me going knowing how far I have come, and I am so…

Congrats!

For that cheap, I think it is a great motivator! I started at a 12 and now in a size 8. I had all my old size 8 clothes and always tried them on every few weeks, and it was great when I found that they fit again. Now I have my size 4 and 6 clothes and try them on, can't wait to get into them. :)

I am about where you are at 155 pounds at that height. But I have also lost 30 so far. Now that I am in a normal healthy range, my weightloss is slow and is about 1 pound every 7-10 days. So you will have a slow weight loss, but I bet you aren't eating enough with how much you work out. Also watch the water weight which…

I use both "diet" foods and non diet foods. My favorite diet foods are really just convenience foods that are smaller portions. I just sometimes need a grab and go option that I know is low in calories. Most are for my sweet tooth, Like skinny cow ice cream, fiber one bars, weight watchers chocolate..etc. And everything I…

5'8 here, and I am 155 now. I started at 185. My first main goal is 145. I was there before and I think being 140-145 is realistic and sustainable for me. Now when I get there, I may decide to go down to 135 But no lower than that.
-
I am 5'8 and 155. When I was 140-145, I looked healthy and fit. Not overly thin but healthy. I think the lowest I could be is 135 before looking too skinny. It all depends on your body. Everyone is different.

Walmart and target.

Definitely once or twice a week. It depends on if I have a "date night" with my husband. If not, then usually only on Sundays. I may go over a little, since we eat at the in laws.
-
I don't have a specific cheat day. But I know on Sundays that I won't be logging the evening meal..since we always eat over at a family's home. I still have a smaller portion of things, but I won't deprive myself from eating something. And it has worked for me so far. I also will allow for special things like date nights…

I started almost exactly where you are. I am 5'8 and I started at 185. I have lost 30 pounds since March, it is possible. You can do it, you can do whatever you are determined to accomplish. Just wanted to wish you good luck for your journey.
-
I started and am still at 1350. I have lost 30 since march and haven't adjusted yet. I have no plans to go lower unless I just stall for a long time, only 10 or so pounds left for me to lose.
-
You look great, I also think you are in the upper 150's. It is hard to judge since I am 3 inches taller than you.
-
Not sure, I didn't log the evening meal we had at the party. But I made sure to exercise that morning to allow for it, and I ate a light lunch. And I had yummy food like deviled eggs, bbq chicken, coleslaw, squash. And a strawberry shortcake dessert. I woke up this morning weighing the same :) So all is good.

I always combine it with other cardio, if not i don't lose weight as much. So I usually do 45 mins of other cardio, then do the 30DS right after it.
