  • This. I never worry about a day here or there. It is when you make a habit of eating over calories..when it becomes a problem.
  • Honestly, I have never used a food scale and I never will. I wanted to do something, that I knew I would do for the rest of my life. I don't see myself wanting to weigh food everyday. I just make sure to eat smaller portions and it has worked for me.
  • Not really any specific person. I like my body now ..for the most part. I just want smaller thighs...that is the last place for me to lose fat. I lost almost all my weight in my upper body.
  • For me it was only calorie counting and exercise. Nothing special. I don't look at the carbs or fat. I only count the calories. I exercise 4-5 times a week. Either on my treadmill or a Jillian video..sometimes both. There are also days that I go over, but it is not a big deal...I know that I just can't do that everyday.…
  • I always go by my HRM. I never pay any mind to the machines. My suggestion is go by the HRM, but don't always eat back every calorie. I eat an average of half my exercise calories back.
  • Sounds about right. I always go by my HRM and for 45 mins at 3.6mph on a 4 incline..I burn about 420-435 calories. I have used my Polar HRM for all of my weight loss, so it has worked for me to use those numbers.
  • I love low calories foods like... All skinny cow products and Yasso frozen yogurt bars. 100 calorie packs Weight watchers snacks. Special K snacks. Fiber one brownies/lemon bars. String cheese Laughing cow cheese wedges on cucumber Low fat cottage cheese Greek yogurt
  • I agree, I eat the Sara Lee delightful wheat bread. Only 45 calories a slice.
  • Anywhere from 3-4 bottles of water. So about 50-67 ounces a day. I don't drink anything else in the day. I am just not a big "drinker".

  • This is the main reason why I gained weight before. I would eat fast food for lunch and dinner most days. Hamburger and fries..etc. So probably doing 2000 calories just on those two meals alone. I gave up fast food for the most part now. If I do have fast food, I just choose a better option or make sure I plan for it. I…
  • I usually eat two hard boiled eggs with Salsa over it ...every other day or so. (Might be strange..but tastes so good)
  • I am the opposite, I am glad my husband doesn't have chest hair.
  • When I work out, I burn at least 400-430 each day by walking 3.6 speed on a treadmill on an incline for 45 mins. I do this 4-5 times a week. Then I will add a Jillian video a few times a week..which adds another 300 or so calories. So some days I burn over 700. Btw, I use a Polar HRM for my calculations. I know some say…
  • No I will not. I didn't count for 6 months before a couple weeks ago. I was maintaining my weight and taking a break. I did fine, I am back to logging to lose a little more. Once I get to where I want to be, I will gradually stop counting again.
  • 45 mins- 1 hr 15 mins. Depends on if I add in a Jillian video on top of my 45 mins on the treadmill. I do that 4-5 days a week.
  • 1. Pounds lost: 35 pounds 2. How long it took: about 6 months 3. How many calories you were eating a day: around 1350 plus some exercise calories. 4. How many days a week you worked out: 4-5 days 5. How many calories did you burn during your workout: anywhere from 430-800 calories a day. I would swap it up.
  • I am a healthy weight for my height and I can easily burn over 700 a day. If i do 45 mins on my treadmill and then a Jillian video. So I could see how she could do it. But I wouldn't want to work out on that low of calories a day. I would feel weak. When I burn over 700..I eat at least half of it back. OP, you definitely…
  • My biggest pet peeve is seeing my facebook friends trying the latest fad diet. I wish I could just tell them. NO....just exercise and eat right. That is all you have to do. But I don't want to sound like a know it all..so I just keep my mouth shut. But if they ask what my "secret" is, I always say that I have never done a…
  • I am not a breakfast person. I eat something small like 150-170 calories. That way..I have a snack a few hours later then lunch after that. I am up and working before 6am and I just don't feel like eating a huge breakfast. My biggest meal is usually lunch.
  • When I was younger, I would smuggle in a smoothie from planet smoothie. Lol...there was one right next to the movies and I made sure to bring a tall purse. :) Now, my husband and I just get a popcorn and share or I get sour patch kids.
  • I eat a sweet everyday. :) I just don't eat 2 servings, I eat one serving. It is about self control and proportions.
  • Yep, I maintained my weightloss for 6 months without counting and no exercising. I just knew what I could eat and how much I could eat. I am now exercising and tracking to lose a little more and tone my body up.
  • They have a dress code, that was the issue with her outfit. Then one employee made a comment to her about the other thing. It wasn't planet fitness who said it, just one person. Seems like it is the problem of that employee..not the company. This was blown out of proportion once again by the news. I personally liked PF. If…
  • They brought back their PURE brand. So it doesn't have the aspartame in it. I bought a couple boxes of those the other week. But I have only used two packets. To me it is more of a thing, when I crave something other than water. I prefer just water most of the time now, but I like having an option instead of grabbing a…
  • I did lose 35 pounds last year. But I took a 6 month break and now I am back wanting to lose the last 10 or so. Since it has been that long, it almost feels like a new journey for me. I am just starting at a much lower weight now.
  • I actually haven't lost much. More the band size than cup size. I have lost 35 pounds..but it was mostly in my back and midsection.
  • My only secret is tracking what you eat and exercising. As long as you are coming in under goal most days, you will lose. But it is ok to have a day here and there that you go over. You can't deprive yourself from living. So if you have a Friday night where you go over a bit, just take the next day and work a little…
  • I walk at an incline at 3.6 and sometimes 4.0. I don't jog till I am at 5.5mph.
  • Not likely, unless you want to struggle to keep it off. I would say shoot for more like 10 pounds in 2 months and then the last ten will probably take a little longer. Either way, imagine how you will look in two months with eating right and exercising. I bet you will lose more inches than weight and isn't that what it is…
  • I am 5"8 around 150 pounds and a size 6/8 depends on the brand. I started at 185 and a very tight size 12. Probably should have been 14.
