Awesome motivation. You look fantastic.

Definitely seems low. I burn over 300 during ripped in 30. And around 250 for 30ds. I know it depends on how hard you do the workouts..I do the unmodified version. But you should still burn over 150...even if you are doing a low impact version. While you are doing the video...what is your average heart rate?
-
I agree with above...I bought a HRM for this purpose. I wanted to know how much I was burning while doing the Jillian DVDs. Then I just log it as a general label as ripped in 30 or 30DS and input the calories from my HRM.

Fish...I love any kind of fish. As for a sweet...probably a Starbucks frappuccino. They are my comfort "food" and I always make sure to make room for them a few times a week.
-
Congrats on finishing it! Those are great results, I suggest doing the Ripped in 30 next. I honestly like that one better.
-
I say do both. I do the Jillian DVDs but I also do 45 mins on an incline on my treadmill. This is the way I get my max results.
-
Week 2 is going good for me. I am on the second week of ripped in 30..those plank moves are a killer.
-
Same with my kids eating Swiss cake rolls. The icing would cause it.
-
Same here. I hate that it is the final season coming up.
-
I always do 45 mins of cardio before I do my Jillian video. So I end up with about 80 mins of exercising that day. I found I have better results than just doing the Jillian DVD alone.
-
On average..half of them back. But there are definitely days..I eat all of them back. :)

She wouldn't like my closet of workout clothes. It is almost all neon..even down to the socks and shoes. This article is silly and she was looking for the attention. I think she was trying to be funny...keyword trying.

The thing that worked for my boys....get rid of diapers completely. Go straight to underwear, pull ups feel like a diaper and a diaper is too easy for them to not go. But you put them in underwear and they don't like that feeling. Also, depends on age..no need to rush. They may not be ready. I knew my boys weren't ready…

I have the Polar ft4 and love it. I won't workout without it. It was $75-80 at a Best Buy. You can input age, height and weight. And it is very easy to use.

Tuna salad on wheat bread and string cheese as a side.

No it was not hard at all. I maintained my 35 pound lost for the last 6 months without exercising. I didn't log, but I already knew what I needed to do. I ate more than when I was losing weight, but I knew how to balance it. I also weigh everyday. So I can tell if I needed to cut back for a couple days. It is all about…
-
I do not, because I do a lot of quick add calories and just add the calories. I keep a diary really just for a total of my calories and so I can add my exercise and see where I end up for the day. So I keep it private.
-
When I was maintaining for the last 6 months, I wasn't logging. But I was probably averaging 1600-1800 calories a day. Sometimes more. I wasn't exercising. Now that I am wanting to lose a little more and tone up..I am at 1350 plus about half of my exercise calories.

I get Starbucks at least a few times a week. Most of their regular frapps are around 390-400 calories for a grande. Try a "light" version with no whip and you will definitely come in under 300.
-
Of course I do. Life doesn't stop during that time. ;)
-
I agree it isn't for everyone. But for us, it has been wonderful and I couldn't see it any other way. Almost 10 years married and I wouldn't change it for anything. We got married young..so we also beat that statistic of young marriages not lasting. You have to marry for the right reasons and keep working at your marriage…

I hate mayo on anything. Never have it on burgers or sandwiches. No I will only use light miracle whip in my tuna. And that is all I use it for. I don't use it for anything else.
-
I hope you don't mind if I join. I have done Ripped in 30 and 30ds before. I am starting Ripped in 30 now. I just finished day 2 of ripped in 30. I like that video better than 30ds. I definitely get a better workout. But I love all of her videos. I always do 45 mins of cardio before I do her videos to get max burn for that…

Making a swap for a lower calorie item is not really deprivation. It would be different if she stopped mayo all together and got cravings for it and then went overboard on mayo.

I am here. I lost 35 pounds last year and want to lose the last 10 now. I am 5'8 and started at 185 almost exactly a year ago. I took a break after losing 35 pounds for about 5 months or so...now I am back to finally lose these last 10 pounds. I am 150 and want to be in the low 140's maybe even as low as 135. We will see.
-
I don't really plan....but I do eat a lot of the same stuff during the week. I am not one that needs variety. So I already know what I am eating for breakfast and lunch each day. Dinner is always different and what ever I decide to eat.
-
Ditto this is why I use light miracle whip for my tuna. Saves a bunch of calories and I hate regular mayo.
-
125 is only 1 over what my minimum is for the target heart rate. I try to do an average in the 150's. So that 120 is probably right. I am with the others and suggest a HRM. You can input all your info and get an accurate reading.
-
That is awesome that you saved a life. Be proud of that! But Honestly, I wouldn't think about logging it. This is your regular activity. This is your job and you probably did the same stuff before you lost weight. So it isn't anything extra like exercising. But I also don't log cleaning the house or pushing a shopping cart…

See, I love hazelnuts. One of my favorite drinks at Starbucks is a hazelnut frappuccino.
