Hi and welcome. Great site, so useful to keep on track. Can hugely recommend the app if you can, is very handy to make note of those little things that can get forgotten about when you're away from the computer!

I finished C25k and have just been gradually upping the time - got to 46.5mins running today. Total miracle for a girl who detested running! Not sure if I should continue to up the time and run longer or try the speed increase technique, I'm a bit of a plodding along runner atm as I run at 7.7kph. Well done to everyone on…

me too! Never thought it was possible but I am hitting the gym 5-6 days a week. A great gym session leaves me feeling sooooo good. Free childcare whilst I'm there makes it even better!

I was going to just post exactly the same thing! Ran 6k today and have a majorly ouch patch under my arm now. I shall be looking for this stuff as well

Sorry to hear about your accident, hope it heals fast for you. Probably the best thing to do is to really watch your diet, be really strict about your portion control whilst you're laid up. It's true that losing weight is more about the kitchen than the gym so by making healthier choices you should be able to maintain your…

What a star! It helps so much to have the support at home. Well done on keeping within goal and not getting disheartened by a over indulge.

Hey to you from Sydney. I've found there are a fair few Aussie things on here, and of course as rnroadrunner said, its easy to add products as you use them to help build the database. We shop at Aldi as much as possible as well. Wish I could get DH into MFP, I tried but he just hasn't the interest yet. I'll convert him…

This! I find the app invaluable, its so easy to 'forget' the odd snack when you're out and about. Well done on taking the first steps to the new healthier you.

I run on the treadmill, I don't enjoy outside running at all and find it so much tougher mentally which seems contrary to what most people find! I struggle to do 10mins outside whereas 45 can pass comfortably on the tready. I people watch and spend the time happily in my own thoughts. I run with a 1.5% incline. I guess I'm…

I did a starter class a few months back. Loved it, only gave it up as the budget was too tight for that and the gym. Would love to go back to it in the future though!

Keep the bad stuff out of the house. My weakness is crisps so I don't buy them as if they aren't there I can't eat them! If you do get cravings then have a big glass of water and wait for 30-45mins and see how you feel, distract yourself with something (go for a run/walk whatever you can) and keep some easy pre portioned…

Just wanted to pop in to say well done to you all. Its tough to get started but once you really start seeing how your running endurance builds up and you are knocking out the 3/5/8min runs it makes you feel so good! Well done and keep at it!

Well done!
