I've been using it for about a year. I like it, but I can't honestly say its any better than regular CM.

Same idea. Greater resistance in the top range.

Kidneys are the concern. I don't believe liver was affected, but I could be off here. I wouldn't continue training until after Wednesday, my doc wants no training for one week prior.

It's been a long time since I did floor presses, but if I recall correctly they hit the triceps more than chest. If so that should help lots on the lockout.

High creatine kinase and C-reactive protein. If you were training strength you might be ok. If you did lots of volume and failure training they will be very high. While back I wasn't thinking and killed my legs before testing. Lots of red flags, doc was not impressed.

DO NOT TRAIN HEAVY for about a week prior to your test. If you do your doc will freak at the results.

Canadian here. Eh isn't part of my regular vocabulary, but some use it more often than others. Tell you friend to lighten up, he's being a *******. (Edited so he wouldn't be offended lol)

I'm no expert on strength training, or BP technique targeting strength gains for that matter. But the floor press would be similar to a two or three board BP, targeting the upper 2/3 of the ROM. That should allow you to lift a greater weight, increasing strength in that portion of the lift. It should also get you…

No. Heavy weights and low reps build strength, not "bulk". Generally anywhere from 8-20 reps to failure, depending on the muscle targeted and the individual, cause the greatest increase in muscle size.

Congratulations! Give yourself a big pat on the back, splurge and treat yourself to something special, enjoy the moment, then set yourself a new goal. Better performance, greater strength....anything you wish. But keep a goal, best to have a focal point to help stay on track and keep motivated. :)

She didn't like the birthday present I offered her

Absolutely not doubting you here, but it is puzzling that adding in the straps on only the one set would be that detrimental to your grip strength. I've been using straps for years for DL and rack pulls, and have never had an issue with losing grip strength, it's actually increased gradually. Might be that I'm doing more…

[quote thats the nice thing about science, you don't have to believe in it, it just is….[/quote] Science always has merit, flawed studies that consistently reach contrasting conclusions do not.

What doesn't coincide with the laws of biochemistry? If he replaced 1000 calories of carbs with 1000 calories of protein, his body would have less available energy due to the greater energy expended in processing the protein. Not massive differences, but a difference nonetheless, that when taken over the long term should…
