5'5 118lbs maintain eating 2000 calories i picked this amount and went with that. mfp says i should eat 1770 but i knew it was too low so i tryed out 2000 for 2 months and there were no problems.I also ate 2150 on exercise days iam kinda active i dont sit around all day iam on my feet most of the time.

Yes its a okay to take a break.. why would it not be after all it's only a week.. and it may make your weight loss slightly slower because your not burning them additional 150-300 or whatever the cals may be you burn when you do exercise. you might end up losing a half a pound less or so..

it's defenately not a waste of time .. while your in a deficit and eating high protien you retain your muscle mas which is very good thing.

I normally have a small breakfast heavy lunch and light dinner all the other calories go to snacks thoughout the day or drinks.

well i take a break from calorie restriction every 3 months and maintain for a month or 2 then go back to making deficits after that time period is over

do you eat enough protien and fat .. drink enough water get enough sleep? I find that when I lack in any of these departments/Macros I tend to eat more .. how about you ? Oh i forgot >Bored/Stressed.. some people eat More because of them things as well

concentrated on eating less goal was 1320-1550 .. trying to get in as much protien in a day as possible reached only 55g on a good day . exercise30-45 minutes5 days of the week .. 0zero cheat days/meals

I said no to the grease bucket food my family brought me from a resturaunt called the cookout i believe .."had already ate all my cals for today" but tomorrow is a new day and am eating it for my meals that day.

for you to be 216 lbs dont you think that 1200 is low for starters 1200 is'nt even enough to feed your bmr which varys from 1600- 1683 cals depending on what calculator you use to calculate it... I think it'd be safe to atleast eat at your bmr to keep your main body functions running more properly and Retain more muscle…

yap.. & the last "5-10" lbs are no different from the others .. it still requires be in a calorie deficit and tightened up logging ... just with them last 5 or so lbs it may seem harder because .. your TEE is lower than before and that means little to no >wiggle room < 4 u

Exactaly what happened to me in the past when I losted weight... and was a newbie to it .. I did not know of such thing as maintain .. i not know about TEE's and deficits either at the time .. only thing i knew was to eat less to lose weight .. i did'nt count calories to lose it.. after that i went back to eating normally…
