  • I have been married 8 months today! And I'm pretty sure my dress would finally be big on me. Your NSV makes me want to pull it out and try it on just to see!
  • We are trying for our first (together, he has a son). So hopefully I will be right there with you all shortly! Feel free to add me
  • I am 29 and would like to lost another 30+ lbs! And I would love an active challenge group. Another one I'm involved in has pretty much disappeared.
  • When I went to try on wedding dresses I had a handful picked out that I wanted and the woman got them all. After I tried on all of them I told her based on my reactions to the ones I had picked out to go find some other ones. I ended up picking one of the ones she chose. And I would definitely not take the size to heart. I…
  • You shouldn't be volunteering if you aren't willing to do whatever needs to be done. And if you have limitations then you should voice those in the beginning. And most people would love to be called out as the strongest. No one should be offended about being the strongest. You need to figure out your priorities before…
  • I also was told by my doctor as a adolescent that based on the charts I was considered overweight and close to obese. I was a competitive figure skater. That doctor's appointment forever skewed my thoughts about my weight and set me on the track that I have been on ever since. I was 5'5" and 150 lbs. But I had super…

  • kanifer, you read his first response to you completely wrong btw. He is eating 250-300g of protein AFTER he quit ketogenic diet. Just thought I would point this out.
  • I try not to eat all of my calories back. There are some days I don't eat any calories back. And some days I eat a couple hundred back. I only about 6 weeks into using MFP and I have done a lot of tweaking to my food and exercise to see what works best for me. Give it a try for a few weeks and see if it helps.
  • I've learned my lesson twice in the last month. 1st time was a chinese food buffet! My stomach rebelled. 2nd time was buffalo wild wings boneless wings. Very yummy, but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many calories. And I felt so fat and bloated for 3 days!
  • Yep! Deleted earlier. But it has pretty much been summed up here already.
  • So glad this continued!
  • Can you please send me an invite to the group? I am interested in joining!
  • Baseball game then dinner at the in-laws. Excited for the game, but will definitely have to budget calories appropriately to make it through hotdogs and my father-in-law's cooking!
  • Make a quilt out of your band t-shirts! Then you get to keep them around and it will keep you warm!
  • I went through this a few years ago. I was working with a trainer and for the first 4 months I gained weight. He told me it was because I was building muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. It was depressing and was hard to stay motivated. He didn't have me doing much cardio so after 4 months of doing it his way I stuck…
  • I've been there. I've been told I had to lose weight due to health issues. I've been told I needed to lose weight cause people are worried about me. I've wanted to lose weight to keep a bf. I've been through so many of those types of issues. And I was an emotional eater myself. But this time something clicked. I'm tired of…
  • I went through that a while ago. I had to wean myself off of it. Eventually you can get off of it and be ok. I can't have more than 1 caffeine drink a day or I end up with horrible migraines. I do keep Bayer Migraine in my purse just in case. A few weeks in to MFP I actually stopped drinking my 1 cup of coffee a day. I had…
  • I used to have 1 everyday. But I was getting really painful gas every afternoon. Went on vacation for a week and for to bring any and had no gas. First day back, had one. Yeah I haven't had their products since! Be careful with those.

  • I can't wait to try these!
  • I just turned 29 and I am on the exact same page as you. I'm done with the weight roller coaster and just want it to end before I turn 30! Feel free to add me!
  • You can't technically spot reduce but in the past I have done some type of ab work everyday. I changed it every day but I still made sure it was part of my workout. It helped to tone those muscles which helped change the shape of my mid section.

  • I try to net 1200 a day. It has worked really well so far. If I get home from work and my calorie intake is a little high I will go for a long walk to get some extra calories so I can eat a full dinner. I am down 11 lbs in 3 weeks!
  • I'm game :)
  • When I exercise a lot and lift weights I either stay flat or gain a few pounds. I worked with a trainer a few years ago and while my clothes got looser and looser over 6 months I gained weight or would lose back to my starting weight. I was building a lot of muscle. The few months later the weight and inches just fell off.…
  • You can add me! I could always use other motivational people! I'm on throughout the day and I try to periodically post on my blog.
