Weird that your doctor said that, my doctor has said there is no proof behind weight gain and the pill. I personally have never gained weight from taking birth control and I have been on all types of pills and even the rod thing in my arm. I was about 65-70kgs at size 12 I'm 5'8.. I was size 14 at 75kgs a couple of years ago Now size 8, at 58kgs :) (Australian sizes)

Hahaha This is basically it. I actually get excited when I log these days because it's a visual aid to my weight loss. I know how much I will be losing by what my diary says and that is what keeps me motivated. The same goes for when I over eat on junk and I can see the damage it's doing and so I make sure I keep that low.…

I can eat 1200 calories, but after doing it for a few weeks i am slowly eating a bit more because as stated it's not really a sustainable amount. I am impatient i will admit and i want to lose 4 more kg in the next few months so that's why i am eating that low but i am keen to up it to maintenance when i reach my goal!…

^ this and also losing weight isn't just about getting to your goal it's also about staying at your goal. When you get there you need to recalculate your maintenance calories and continue to monitor them

it's not a lot, I've worked out my maintenance at my goal weight on many different calculators and it's always at 1900 calories. wow i wish i could lose 6lbs a week that's crazy quick!! Unfortunately i only lose about 1lbs a week sometimes 2 if i eat really well. You could maybe up your exercise by a lot? I know i really need to get my butt moving more haha

I'm a bit random with my weigh ins, I do mine every now and again, or when i need a bit of motivation. If i over eat, i like to wait a bit before weighing in and if i eat really well i also like to wait so i can see a nice progress on the scales :)

I'm the same as you, i have my diary set to 1400, but i aim for 1200 because the more i eat over 1200 the more hungry/cravings i feel. I don't get it haha. I have been feeling full on 1200 lately so i just stick to that sometimes i go over but that usually ends in me eating something extra and going more over. Grrr
