I would definitely go with your elliptical reading. When I got my HRM, I found that the elliptical and free runners I was using only slightly over-calculated my calories burned (Like 10-20 calories off per 30 minutes). On the treadmill, however, I burn way more than the treadmill and MFP say I do.

I've heard of these and I know that a lot of women really love them! I, however, prefer just squatting down and peeing. Works great for me as long as you can get a very small amount of privacy! :)

True that eating at night does not cause weight gain, but a lot of people (I for one) wake up feeling bogged down and overall crappy if I eat late at night. Everyone is different.

Raw baby carrots and Jalepeno hummus! The raw carrot thing is new to me since I previously hated raw carrots.... Love them with the hummus though! Plus, the hummus I bought from Hy-Vee only has 35 calories/2 Tablespoons!

I have just heard that the suction from the diva cup can dislodge the IUD when you remove the cup. Do you use the two together? Do you take your cup out any special way to prevent this?

Try eating a more nutrient dense/high protein cereal such as the Kashi Go Lean cereals. They have quite a few flavors that "have as much protein as an egg" and also have a lot more fiber than Cheerios and other kinds of cereal. I am always hungry, but Kashi cereals keep me full until lunch.

I'm 10 lbs. from my goal weight and went on a 30 minute run with my HRM last night and burned 343 calories. I guess it just depends. I would say that I am in pretty darn good shape but I still burned that much...

I have a question that maybe someone on this thread can answer. If I were to buy a HRM.. could I wear it for a full day to figure out how many calories I burn just on a normal day without exercise? To get a more accurate BMR?
