  • i'm also 5'8 and 148.8 lbs, an looking at a goal weight of 120lbs, might sound a bit low but i'm hoping to try an gain a little muscle back! tho i haven't lost in ages! think i need a butt kicking to get back in the swing of things!
  • sounds like she's making excuses for her failures. i'd ignore her, an possibly not let her see comments relating to weightloss if it upsets her that much.
  • i did it a while back while i was at my heaviest, i lost 7 or 8 lbs, but did lose 12 inches! mainly off my chest, waist and hips. so it definately helped that way!!

  • i had a stomach bug a few months back, i also lost about 6lbs, i ended up putting 3 back on, but the other 3 stayed off! which i was more than happy with because i figured it would all go back on once i managed to start eating properly again!
  • i've found my tail bone too, and i want it to go away!! sometimes...if i move in my chair, i swear i feel it wiggle. i'm hoping to lose another 30lbs so i really hope this thing can't get any more pointy!
  • i was on the same pill up to about 2 years ago for about 7 years, i actually lost weight when i first went on it, and it certainly didn't seem to influence my weight while i was on it. but i think the problem with the pill is that it can affect people differently. i think i was one of the lucky ones.
  • might sound silly, but i was like this last week. i ended up getting a really big carrot and just munching it, according to mfp it was only 30kcal but my stomach felt so full every time i thought about eating something else, i swear i felt my stomach groan lol.

  • i'd agree with the shred. when i did it i only lost 7lbs which was a bit disapointing, but! i did lose a total of 12 inches, mainly from my hips/waist & chest.
  • my scales are pretty dodgy too. i usually stand on them about four times before i accept what they say!

  • you'd think that would work, but i seem to get more people trying to talk to me when i'm using my mp3 player and it's never about the music! lol. i'm a bit like you, it's not that i mind strangers talking to me, it's just that i don't have a clue what to say back. i normally just smile an nod at the appropriate time.

  • i coun't shopping, i've got my fitness level at the lowest too. sometimes when i go shopping it can be up to 4 or 5 hours. so i'm counting that lol.

  • i say do both too, i'm sure i've seen a few posters who are doing weight watchers also. tracking here whilest on it might help you once you get to your weight and come off it.
