Hi there! I'm also a mom in her 30s. I've been up and down on my weight loss journey, but I'm feeling motivated to get back at it. Feel free to add me. Good luck to you! :flowerforyou: Kris

Hi there, I've been on MFP on and off for years now. Feel free to add me! I love to a good group of supportive friends.

Hot yoga? Seriously though, I live in dry heat and the humidity is rough when I'm in it. I tried a climbing gym in Florida once, and ugh! All I can say is push through it, drink a lot, and if nothing else, walk. I was in India during the monsoon season and walked A LOT! It's a good workout. Good luck!

This. It seems to me MFP tends to take your calories too low though.

Honey, Bear Naked Peak Protein Natural Granola, and a banana. Yummy!

Glad you got out there and exercised! I find I feel better if I do. I've even gone on day-long climbing trips out in the mountains. I tend to be in more pain if I just sit around.

Just as an example... http://www.shape.com/healthy-eating/diet-tips/ask-diet-doctor-it-ok-eat-same-thing-every-day I google…

It was a combination of things for me. I think there was extra stress at work this school year. Then I got an overuse injury from rock climbing and had to stop for months. I just started back; we'll see how it goes. I think gaining some weight from these two things just sent me in a downward spiral that's taken a while to…

Same here. Did it once for Lent a few years ago, so I know I can do it. I don't really feel the need now. Besides, what would I drink with the girls at book club?

I'm a special education teacher. Last year I was working in a middle school behavior intervention program. Next year, I'll be in a high school emerging autism program. I tend to let the pounds creep on during the school year. I'm hoping to plan better for this coming year and lose weight. Anyone can feel free to add me,…

I'm looking to start a master's program as well. My experience so far in looking for programs has been that the prices range wildly. From what I can tell, I won't need to spend more than $10K though. I have no desire to have any student loans. I need an online program since I work as a teacher and have a kiddo. That's…
