  • I go to a climbing gym. We'll stare at you while you work on a route, but we'll also yell supportive things and we'll give you a spot if you're bouldering, or belay you if you want to rope climb. I bring newbies all the time, and it's generally a positive experience. :smile:

  • I'm a special education teacher. I work with students with severe behaviors and autism. :smile: I'm likely starting a M.Ed. program with an emphasis in educational technology, so maybe one day I'll teach online. Nice to see so many teachers on here!

  • Hot yoga? Seriously though, I live in dry heat and the humidity is rough when I'm in it. I tried a climbing gym in Florida once, and ugh! All I can say is push through it, drink a lot, and if nothing else, walk. I was in India during the monsoon season and walked A LOT! It's a good workout. Good luck!
