Like others have said, you don't have to eat breakfast. I do, however, and I don't like to eat long after I wake up. My typical breakfast is ... - 1/4 cup oats - 1/2 serving vanilla protein powder - 1 tablespoon peanut butter - 1 serving chia seeds - Sometimes I add a banana Mix in water (or milk) and microwave all of it…

https://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/the-hcg-diet-yet-another-ineffective-quick-fix-diet-plan-and-supplement/ I saw several of my girl friends try this diet. They lost a lot initially because of the severe calorie restriction. All gained the weight back rapidly, which true, can happen on any diet, but I think there are a…

Hi everyone! My name is Kris and I live in New Mexico. I'm a single mom, a special education teacher, a grad student, and a Catholic. Life is busy, but good! I had previously lost almost down to my goal weight (125 lbs) using MFP, but I stopped tracking and slowly the weight crept back on and then some. I'm looking forward…

Drink low calorie drinks - water, tea, coffee, etc. Chew gum. If you snack, snack on fruits and veggies. And make sure there are no junk food options in the house. Good luck with your studying!

Thanks for sharing! Yes, I've been doing yoga for over a decade now. I just wanted to see if anyone had some great routines they did at home. I know what you mean about the energy of the room. That's the thing, I just don't seem to focus the same way at home, and yet, making it to classes is not a great option for me right…

So nobody on the boards does yoga at home? I understand; it can be dangerous...

I go to a climbing gym. We'll stare at you while you work on a route, but we'll also yell supportive things and we'll give you a spot if you're bouldering, or belay you if you want to rope climb. I bring newbies all the time, and it's generally a positive experience.

I sent you a private message with some thoughts and links. And I'm bumping this as well. Good luck, friend!

I've been on three cruises, all with family when I was younger. My first was a Disney cruise in the Caribbean, second was Carnival in the Caribbean, and third was Carnival on the Mexican Riviera. Worst part: Being sea sick during a storm. Take Dramamine, and if you get sea sick, walk. You'll feel better than sitting or…

I'm a special education teacher. I work with students with severe behaviors and autism. I'm likely starting a M.Ed. program with an emphasis in educational technology, so maybe one day I'll teach online. Nice to see so many teachers on here!

Welcome to MFP and good luck on your journey! As for snacks, fruit and vegetables are a great choices, but I also like trail mixes (esp. with low salt). Just don't eat too much (usually a fourth cup is good). Greek yogurt and granola is another good one. I had to learn to how to cook, too, and really, once you get a few…
