I tried running for 60sec and walking 90 and was able to do an hour and around 3miles lol I know that doesn't sound like much, but for me it was a huge milestone. All uphill too!

time was about an hour and a half (two hours including the slight cvs run for powerade midway through) with lots of uphill work, but not steep hills. I got off and walked up a monster steep hill, but that was all.

Yea I'm super bad at running and it discourages me, so I hope that if I get somewhat in shape, I can tackle running with a brave face. A triathlon would be so much fun! Maybe in the future, for sure! (hadn't even thought of it)

I am working on the same thing! Look up on youtube how to do 'donkey kicks', squats, and bridges. I say to look up on youtube (or any sight with video or step by step pictures) because if you're not working with a trainer and you don't know what to do, it helps to SEE how it should be done. I haven't been counting calories because I tend to obsess over food anyway.. But I don't eat that much in a day. Often, but not a lot. I will keep a diary (art student, so I already keep a sketchbook) and log in what I eat and calculate how much that adds up to.
