That sounds a lot like the pain I was having while doing 30DS. Although, I was mostly doing it barefoot, but the one time I tried it with my New Balance shoes on, the pain was still there and seemed worse. I only have 5 lbs weights and tried those yesterday. Only made it maybe halfway through the work out. I took the advice of others and tried using water bottles today (1 lbs) and I made it through the entire work out with some modification. I think Jillian uses like 3 lbs weights.

Just did Day 2 today! Wow!! Muscles that I did not even know I owned are sore!!!!

I just finished ALL of Level 1 Day 2!!!!! I did make some modifications such as running/walking in place when the jumping jacks and butt kicks were killing me and I did use water bottles as my weights today (so basically 1 lb weights) and I made it the whole way. I lasted longer than my husband who tried to do it with me…

Thanks ladies. My thighs still feel like jell-o and I stopped over 30 minutes ago!! My weights are 5 lbs, so maybe that is just too much too soon and I should try the soup can trick for a while. Ugh! I will get back to it tomorrow because you all told me to, but man, I am not looking forward to it at all! LOL

I haven't tried them, but I have seen those Glucerna shakes a lot. I am Type 1 and on an insulin pump and I can do Slim Fast ok without spikes as long as I bolus the correct amount of carbs for it.

I miscarried a baby in Nov '03 and was convinced it was going to be a girl. I would have named her Allison Olivia and called her Alli. Since then, I use AlliO a lot on the web as a way to keep that baby's memory alive.

Maybe you are gaining muscle from your working out and muscle weighs more than fat..... Just my first thought.
