That's a reasonable solution. Thank you!

I can't tell if the up3 is a continuous hrm or not. I keep seeing that it takes a resting hr and then recognizes and tracks activity. I'm still unsure if it does hr during activity or not.

Thanks! I don't eat them back, because I'm working hard for the calorie deficit right now. I'm sticking to around 1200 cals/day, but like I said my activity level is all over the place from day to day so I'm just trying to learn my daily needs a bit better. Almost every day is a bit unusual as a special ed teacher. It…

That's a good point, thank you. I will keep reading. I'm probably looking for a way to see data that probably isn't possible to obtain. :)

I have my activity level set as lightly active, which is how I usually end up with an extra 400-600 fitbit calories at the end of the day. I usually get between 4000-9000 steps in at work, and 10-20 "active minutes" on my fitbit. My weekend days at home fit more closely to true lightly active. I've only been logging my…

I wear mine, and then manually log the elliptical time in mfp. Then I get a negative exercise calorie count from fitbit that takes me a few thousand steps to make back up. So it balances itself.

I'm on week 2. I love it for the stretch and the limber feeling I have once done. I'm feeling sore in places I didn't know I had! I work up a good sweat, and my heart rate goes up, but I don't think it replaces cardio. I'm still doing my gym routine.

I'm only 30, but I have terrible skin elasticity, unfortunately from my mom. Pregnancy left us both a wreck. I'm sure I will always having a belly overhang/apron, even if I were at the most fit possible. I've lost 27 pounds so far (56 to go) and my skin has become really soft and a bit wrinkly. My pregnancy stretch marks…

It can be tough, but I had to make it a priority. I'm a full time teacher with 2 kids (3 and 6) so I had to sacrifice. I'm up at 5:15 to go the gym, and back at 6:45 to get ready for work. My next step is to force a quick strengthening routine before I start dinner. It means going to bed at 9:15 instead of 10:30, and…

I'm doing those plus D and calcium.

It's a structured calorie deficit program basically. I've been using it and it works well for me. My mom lost 40 pounds using it, and I'm currently following it. There aren't any magic tricks involved, other than calorie deficit and regular exercise. The book is good for someone who doesn't know where to start with…

I lost 10 pounds my first trimester with each pregnancy. I just didn't feel like eating, so was making sure to choose quality foods to make it count. I was told a good weight gain for me would be 15-20 pounds in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. You have to gain some... the baby alone will be 7-9ish pounds, the placenta,…

The Premier Protein shakes from Costco are drinkable. I've gotten used to them and they aren't so bad. I'm on a calorie deficit diet, and part of that is frequent small meals/snacks. Since I teach full time, I use the protein shake as a quick meal option. It's filling and gives me a major energy boost.
