The program was designed for NET calories. if you are exercising you need to keep your body fueled. Use the diary to track your NET calories. I was always hungry in the beginning. I am fine staying within the 1200 NET calories. You will learn what your body needs to feel satisfied longer. Just give it some time to adjust.

Challenge Accepted I am back in the mode of losing inches and not scale weight. I have been attending a toning class w/weights. I know by the way my clothes fit that I am shrinking but also building muscle mass back. My weight loss may not show in pounds!

Start by holding poses for as little or as many seconds as you can and work your time up from there. There are so many poses it can be very overwhelming. I do the sun salutation daily. I, like you, want to target…

I do yoga for flexibility. I have also joined a class strengthening and toning with weights. A lot of walking.

I too want to lose weight/stay fit for riding. I ride Tennessee Walkers. The gait of the horse really works my abs and back. I find that yoga helps with flexibility for unassisted mounting and dismounting. Also helps maintain balance in the saddle.

I really appreciate the 5K information. I am not a runner but enjoy participating in the walks. Dont forget the Indy Komen Race for the Cure in April. I have participated with a "survivor" friend for the past 9 years. I have had far too many friends that have battled breast cancer and a couple that have lost the battle. If…

I am over 50. Two years ago I used MyFitnessPal to track calories/activity and had great success. I was within 4 lb of my 20 lb weight loss goal. My job was eliminated. Fortunately/Unfortunately I have only put on 10 of the 16 lbs I lost. However, my new job is very confining, mostly sitting, and longer hours. My entire…
