  • I am so glad I read your extremely inspiring post today. This morning on wakening I decided I must really stop having a little nibble of cheese or a few nuts, which then mean I dont lose weight. That little monster is not going to tempt me again. Summer is here and my lovely blue capris which I wore last summer are waiting…
  • Ice cream too sweet. Cant believe I dont enjoy ice cream, which I had for dessert with guests. Yuck.
  • I recently bought the book "Thin for Good", author Dr Fred Pescatore, (who worked for Atkins) which gives a 30 day menu plan, and also motivational tips for the 30 days. I found it excellent. Hope that helps.
  • When I changed my snack from cheese, which I love, to 30 grams of almonds per day, I lost weight. I love cheese and never thought I could get through the day without it, but I have, and if it means I can continue to lose lbs I will stay away from cheese - it is just not worth it.
  • Congratulations!! You look lovely a f great dress!! ????
  • Just checked your diary, and saw you are like me you snack on cheese. I stopped eating cheese and lost weight. I know it is difficult but please give it a try. It may just be the answer. Good luck.
  • I am so sorry to hear of your disappointment. What worked for me was cutting back on cheese, nuts and fruit. Give that a try. It could be you are holding on to water which normally one loses when low carbing. Perhaps too much bacon, or salt on your food. Hope that helps, Don't give up. Low carbing only way I lose some lbs,…

Cutting carbs is the only way I have lost weight. If I eat the same amount of calories, 1200, but eat higher carb count, maybe 70, I put on weight.…
  • Hi Jen, Could you cut back on your carbs until the day of the wedding? You would lose some water which should help with any bloat. Have a lovely time whatever you do.
  • Hi Nics, I find if I go to my wardrobe and look at jeans and dresses which were too tight that always works in stopping me overeating. It is just not worth it. Hope that helps next time you feel like binging. ????

  • Walking would definitely help. Just start of with as many minutes as you can manage, and then increase as you feel able. Walking is an excellent exercise, so on you go and enjoy. ????
  • That must have really been such a great feeling.!!! ????
  • BRILLIANT, Penny. Thanks from a low carber.
