I got through Breaking Bad. Twice. I regret NOTHING!

Amazing!! Especially the side view, looks like a completely different person! You should be very proud :drinker:

Bump to read later - this is great stuff :) I can't really go for sugary drinks at all cos of my beetus, so this makes me feel less guilty about grabbing the occasional fanta zero! like another person said, everything in moderation :) :drinker:

Sorry OP for the late reply! I'm 160cm tall :) good luck with 30 Day Shred x P.S. Measure yourself however you want haha

On average about 0.4kg / 1lb a week :) at first I started losing something like 2lbs a week but that slowed down after 3 weeks It took me about 3 months to realise that slow and steady definitely wins the race! There are now weeks where I lose 0.2 / 0.3kgs a week but that no longer bothers me :) One word of advice, invest…

I agree, definitely start using metric / imperial (lbs) units instead of stone - you'll feel better about your achievements and it'll be easier to set up mini goals - and mini rewards!

Hi! I started off at 72.2kg back in the beginning of February. I hit my 2 stone mini goal on 17th May (weighed in at 59.9kg). Have a look at my diary for general food ideas - I started off eating 1200 a day for the first 50 days (before joining MFP) then realised it wasn't enough! Since then I upped it to 1450 calories a…

Oh my Lord, reading the "Sorry, is something wrong?" post I posted earlier, it comes across as being really sh***y, I'm really sorry about that :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed: had NO intentions of it coming out as stroppy. I appreciate 100% of everyone's input on any thread. Thanks everyone
-
KayJaMikel, you're right... I'm so grateful there's a website like MFP and please don't get me wrong, I LOVE it. I wouldn't have been able so stay so motivated without it :) I guess it's just the colour red that peeves me haha... I'm kind of like a Spanish bull!
-
Sorry, is something wrong? Did you not understand the point of this thread? My message is, DON'T WORRY ABOUT BEING IN THE RED. It's amazing that people think I actually got upset over being four calories over    At least 99% of those who've contributed actually understand what I mean. If you don't,…

Tbh I could just poop and use up 4 calories... I just don't feel compelled to log it as exercise just to make my numbers green
-
Don't worry, it doesn't bother ME that much about my own calorie goals... I just know how it can make people feel super insecure about their calorie intake, that's what bugs me about it! haha YES, I should so look into that
-
Fantastic job losing all of that weight, both to you and your wife! You've done so well :) you should feel really proud of yourself, keepit up!

I'm in! I'm 23 and trying to shake off my T2 diabetes (which I've had for 4 years :grumble:)
-
Feel free to add me as well - I've got 3kg (7lbs) left before I hit my initial goal... however looking at my reflection now, I think I'm going to make it 4kg to lose! I feel like it's gonna be hard :P x
-
Thanks Amber! Feel free to send me a friend request :D Diabetes is a strange one eh?
-
All of the advice and support on this post has been mindblowing! So tempted to print it off and stick it up in my room... haha I'm so sad :p Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to kick my 'diabeetus' in the butt ;D

Okay, I have now changed my target calorie settings. I've upped them up to 1450 for days when I am NOT exercising. On days I exercise I will eat back half the exercise calories consumed. My average weekly loss will now be 0.4kg (1lb) as opposed to 0.7kg before. (1.7/8lb) AND I'm off to the gym now to talk to the…

Right, I've not yet mastered how to upload photos onto MFP... bloody genius that I am. How am I a teacher?! Anyway, it says on Aaron's website that my body fat percentage is at 26.3%... that seems REALLY low, way lower than I've ever been told by the people who work at my gym... of course, they use the same scales as me…

http://tinypic.com/r/nvz0ix/8 Oh my good God that's slightly different to 36%... is that right?!
-
This is going to sound like the dumbest question ever BUT is that a good thing? Thank you for taking the time to calculate everything. Can you tell I'm new to this whole weight loss thing? :P ALSO, thought I'd post my measurements up on here incase they help - I want to be as helpful as possible! Chest: 36.5 Waist: 28…
-
I wish I knew how accurate / inaccurate my scales are! All I can say to this is that my body is quite jiggly... especially around the tummy area  (sorry everyone, TMI!)
-
Yep, on my scales it said at the start that I was 39.3%. I'm not sure how accurate that is as I know nothing about the rate of BF loss... does the amount of fat lost sound like too much / not enough?
-
Wow, I had no idea it was that aggressive! It's only just clicked for me that 1200 / 1250 is a small amount of calories. Over the last week or so I have been trying to eat more than this. I've posted my height / weight / bmi / age on the post now :) Thanks again everyone for your replies.
-
Hiya, thanks for the quick reply. I've edited my original post with the amount of cardio I do a week: I aim for 4 sessions a week, burning around 500 a time. Height: 161cm (5.3) Weight: 62kg (137lbs) Age: 23 I'm a primary class teacher :)

+1! :flowerforyou:

Yup, 'friends' want you to stay unhealthy! Before going to university I would ALWAYS meet up with a bunch of friends from my teenage years - I considered them my best mates. We'd go out to the nearest pub or the nearest house party, eat loads of crap and get wasted. This carried on until my second year of uni when I got…

This exactly... :indifferent: I'm also confused about the help you wanted from us. I think the advice we're giving you might be different from the advice you want to hear. At first glance I would say "Oh, you binged, move on and start again" but you actually need professional help.

I've just read your 'about me' section on your profile. Are you seeking professional help for your ED? Have you shown them this food diary?
