For shame, 17 pages without Karl Urban?

Going to be begging my Chargers to beat Packer butt!

Hi, I'm in a very similar boat, I'll be 30 in February and have another 30lbs to lose (lost 10 so far). I'm getting myself back in running shape so currently "power" walking and jogging! LLAP :flowerforyou:

I also take One a Days and I agree they are a pain to swallow but I usually take it right before I eat so that even if it feels like it's in my throat, the food takes that feeling away. If you just can't handle it there are quite a few brands that sell "Gummy" vitamins now that you just chew. They probably have a few…

If chips are something that you really love then swearing off completely is setting yourself up for failure anyway. Just be smart about it and just have a couple when you really want some. LLAP :flowerforyou:

I agree, this happened to me recently and finally confessed to a girlfriend of mine that it hurt my feelings that she hadn't noticed and she told me she didn't want to hurt my feelings by suggesting that I had needed to lose weight in the first place. You never can tell what people are really thinking. LLAP :flowerforyou:

Ha ha! This is so true! Although it depends on how much you are sweating out as well. When I have a good workout day, I don't make nearly as many trips to the loo! :flowerforyou:

I worked at a Vons store back in early 2000s and it was infuriating when people would munch while shopping, not because they were thieves but because there ARE lots of thieves out there that leave there garbage all over the store and as an employee you have no way of knowing. Whenever I saw people leave an empty package…

Absolutely ♥ ♥ ♥ this!

I started doing this about a month ago and it drastically changed my mind about certain restaurants/meals! Very good idea! :flowerforyou:

I've noticed that when I plan ahead I am WAY more likely to stay within my goals and workout. The days that I go over are usually days that I didn't bother keeping track until the day was over! :flowerforyou:

I have seen positive responses from almost everyone, strangers and friends alike, but there has been a sort of backlash from a couple of my girl friends who seem to think I'm somehow getting in shape just to spite them or something. I try to talk them into working out with me when they complain but then they say how busy…

Welcome to the MFP way of life  I feel you on the making time for fitness!

I read the 2nd (I think) book by them "Skinny B*tch in the Kitch". I got it for the recipes but I must admit I also felt very negative vibes from the way it was written. I guess what it comes down to is if you're willing to give up just about everything, or willing to pay for vegan substitutes then they are great for…

Ha ha! I have so been feeling like that the last week :flowerforyou:

Whoever said Eragon, that was by far the worst film adaption I have ever seen. I'll never understand why, when script writers have a best selling story to begin with, why they feel the need to change half the story. Stupid.

I will agree with you on those two, although you have to admit those are not typical Stephen King stories.
-
Any movie based on a Stephen King novel or short story. Oh and Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned...Interview was just bad acting and QotD changed waaaay too many important plot points.

I'm curious how a step counter works on a phone? What is the app called?

Less is not necessarily more in the case of dieting. Unless your BMR is very low (which is unusual unless you are very short) I would get that 1000 is much too low. If you are taking in too few calories you are probably not getting the nutrients/vitamins/proteins that your body needs...not too mention that the more you…

The good news is that a lot of companies are jumping on the "heart health" bandwagon and I'm seeing more and more low sodium options on the shelves!

Ha ha! Good plan :)

When it comes to my skin I'll trust your beautician :flowerforyou: Man I hope it doesn't last 3 whole months though...LOL
