Thanks everyone, I'm pretty happy with the results so far. As for exercise, I have just been walking the treadmill about 4 to 5 x week. I didn't start that until halfway through the second month when i got stuck at a plateau for a few days. I eat a range of calories instead of an exact amount. Most days i eat to lose 1.5…

I was 5'3" at my highest but more like 5'2" now, pretty sure i shrunk a little. My first goal is 141 pounds, but know the range for 5'2" is 113 to 141pounds. Thats a big range. After I get to 141 i'll take my time to go down as far as i can go down comfortably.

Amelia, You are only 21 years old and you are beautiful. Hang in there. Someday you will meet someone that is perfect for you.

I was going to start weight lifting and changed my mind and decided to wait until I was under 200 pounds first. I didn't start exercising at all until i lost the first 21 pounds. I'm just doing cardio right now, started two weeks ago. I'll get use to that and later after i've lost another 50 pounds start the weight lifting…

None, I don't have any girl scouts anymore.

I just read the book new rules of lifting for women and in it they said that form wasn't important and locking is okay. I quickly put it down and was thankful I didn't buy it and just got it out at the library because I can't believe that technique isn't important. I then went out and got two more books. In the one it said…

Wow, i just went back and looked at the calories i've been eating, I guess i have been eating under 1200 calories most days. I was getting close and kept thinking that was enough, plus thinking that well i'm sure i ate more on other days this week. I'll push myself to eat more calories now that i'll be lifting.
-
Thanks Icuconley. I'm not sure if it is a deficit. I actually added couple hundred calories to what mfp suggested. They told me i should be eating 1200 calories and i've been eating between 1400 and 1600. Some days i do eat 1200 calories but not usually. Do you think 1400 to 1600 calories is enough?

I started my diet on January 2 of this year and didn't start to exercise until I stopped losing weight for one week. I have lost 21 pounds so far in a little less than two months. I just got my NROLFW today and am going to do my first day of stage one tomorrow. I joined Fitness 19 so that i'd be able to use their weight…

I got a call from the library today to come pick up my New Rules of Lifting for Women. I picked it up and already read it. I normally take forever to read things but this time i couldn't put it down. I am a little disappointed that most of the exercises are with free weights since i joined a gym to use the weight machines.…

1. Be able to go to a regular clothes store and buy something off the rack in a size appropriate for my height. 2. Go to family outings and look as great as my sister and cousins. 3. Not be embarrassed when i see an old friend or family member because they will know the truth about what happened to me. 4. Not be self…

lol. I had the funniest feeling you were going to say that. :)

I see you don't mention how much you make or what you do?

Thanks everyone. I just ordered all three books at my neighborhood library. I really appreciate your responses :)
-
I joined fitness 19 so that i can get serious about exercising. I even exercised for 20 minutes.

Wow, that's great. Thanks for sharing.

These are all good reasons that didn't cross my mind. But, I'd like to prevent having to pay extra for two seats if I ever have to fly, this is not only costly but would be embarrassing. I also think about if EMS ever was called I don't wan to be too heavy for the poor guys, If i ever had to have surgery it is so much more…
