I'm feeling under the weather right now and I want grilled cheese & ginger ale. Not with gross American "cheese". Two thick cut slices of sourdough with Swiss, Provolone, and Dijon mustard inside and grilled with yummy butter.

Remember when the only options were plain, peanut, and the special edition chocolate mint that only came out at Christmas?

I wonder if they are mixing up weight training and OSHA? In OSHA training it's drilled into people to never lift things above their heads (and never store heavy items above eye level). Instead get a step-stool and pull the item into your chest. The risk is the movement of trying to pull a heavy item down from a shelf or…

And today I learned that hot cocoa and hot chocolate are not interchangeable/regional preference. I make it from scratch, sometimes with cocoa powder, sometimes with melting chocolate. It just depended on what I had in the kitchen when I started pulling out the sauce pan. No matter what, you better like ground cayenne…

Wouldn't you just lick the table?

Let's start by narrowing down those terms into measurements. For example that glass of orange juice, it that 6oz or 16? Those bottles of water, are they a liter? 8 ounces? A "cup of water" is 8 ounces. It's the liquid measure "cup" not the container. If you literally don't know what they contain, it's time to fill the…

People LIE. Especially when it affects their public image and their public image IS their income stream. The only reason the Kardashians are famous is because they are rich and willing to put their entire lives in public in order to be famous (and more rich). They are not role models (or actually attractive in my opinion).…

I'd split a healthy(ish) appetizer with someone and then get a fat slice of cheesecake.

Good Times has peppermint, eggnog, AND pumpkin pie shakes right now! See my pain??? (and I love that we both put our state in our names)

That would be tempting to make worse. "What you didn't say anything about sauerkraut!" followed by "It's just a whole bulb of garlic and hot brie, isn't that a normal hot lunch?" At a certain point the microwave would disappear.

Driving home after my workout and my car smells of the delicious kids meal and peppermint milkshake I just picked up for my underweight son...and I can't have any of it. Nope, no hand-breaded chicken strips and wild fries for me. Nope.

We do Blue Apron. I've learned to only sign up for weeks where I see three recipes that excite me. If they are only so-so I don't get it. So we might get one every few weeks. Doing it every week was too much.

Mine is due for replacement in the spring, thanks for the heads up.

Plus it is relaxing to stand in the kitchen slowing stirring the homemade cocoa. It helps prep you for bed.

Add yoga. It's a great way to get out of your own head. I do my regular HIIT workout 3 times a week but also yoga 2-3 days a week. It's exercise but at a completely different pace and focus. Plus it will help you learn stretches to do at home when you need a quick 10 minute reset.

Because milkshakes are awesome! Most of the time I want a standard hot non-fat latte or cappuccino. But every once in a while having a mocha is delicious decadence. Especially around Christmas when I can get a salted caramel mocha or peppermint mocha. It's hot chocolate with a hit of espresso.

I only like cold pizza if it's pesto or thai pizza with a crust on the thinner side. YES, I said PIZZA and not FLATBREAD. PIZZAAAA!!!!

That has more to do with the difficulty of making the turkey for a restaurant then a lack of interest. Ted's Montana Grilll has turkey dinner on the menu every Sunday as its special. It's enough to feed two people and delicious.

Well, I'm pretty sure every girl out there at some point has either said "um, do you have toilet paper" or "damn it, do you have a tampon" to the next stall. Maybe it affects our future behavior.

Not to derail the conversation, but you do know that Myers-Briggs is a load of *kitten* right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NQqSnkI32A

Thanks! It was big hit and the first dessert to run out. I ended up having a sliver.

There are several ways to attack this: making good choices when eating out, packing lunches, and have emergency supplies. The best way to make healthy choices when eating out is to prepare in advance. I know which places near my work have dishes that are within my calorie goals and if I need to make any substitutions.…

This is cooling in my kitchen right now. Bourbon chocolate pecan pie. I would love to take a fork to it right now. But it’s for a work function tomorrow and I’m going to do my best to abstain.

Share it with some apple slices. I volunteer!

I usually have something small for breakfast and tend to eat either on the road or when I get to work. So I keep shelf stable things in my desk, plus have frozen stuff I can grab and microwave when I get there. Instant Oatmeal Kashi GoLean Peanut Butter Crunch cereal (this is my "it's the weekend!" treat) Jimmy Dean Turkey…

Instead of a blanket "24 hours" giving a nuanced answer. For example: wait at least five hours before exercising, do not exercise alone, eat beforehand and drink more water than usual, have a snack with you, reduce your pace/expectations, etc. The advice isn't the same across websites/sources. Some even said don't work out…

I'm so-so on the original Oreo cookies. I would much rather have the lemon, mint, or brownie batter ones.

All fake "cheese" dust crackers are icky. So is "cheese" in a can and American "cheese" and the V word. Now a nice slice of white cheddar on a cracker with a slice of apple? Hand over the whole *kitten* tray.

Yep on the green beans casserole, sweat potatoes, and most stuffings. I didn't grow up with the first two. We'd have green beans amandine and a big salad with homemade dressing with our turkey. I hate stuffing from a box. Have you tried Cornish game hens for Thanksgiving? Very yummy and no piles of leftovers.

Define hot sauce. Tabasco? Well that's swill. Merf's Electric Lime Hot Sauce is delicious and doesn't overpower the food. I love sprinkling some on my scrambled eggs with Mexican cheese blend.
