My son has Asperger's/A.S.D. and he is very similar to me in that he doesn't study, tests well above the other kids in his grade, always does well in school.

Agree 100%. I don't study...ever. I don't feel like I need to. I read it and retain it. I never thought it was unusual...until now...lol

I am a 3. I don't always lie about it, but I have before. Mostly because I feel guilty that I can get the A's without studying while others struggle through hours of studying and still have a hard time.

I use leftover chicken to make BBQ chicken pizza. The recipe I use gives you 1 large slice for 375 calories. I am sure the recipe could be tweaked to lower the calories.

Here is how I manage... I have 2 kids, a 6 yr old and an almost 8 yr old (who suffers from SPD, ASD, ADHD, asthma, and a million other things). I work a full time job, I go to school, I am training for a marathon, and my significant other works 2nd shift so he is not at home at night. That makes my schedule insane! My 8 yr…

That was super helpful and the best way I have seen BMR and TDEE presented.

It is all the BBQ's....brats, cheddarwursts, potato salad, chips and dip...and the biggest culprit...BEER!

I have been eating more on this round of MFP. I was feeling hungry all the time before which really put a damper on my motivation. I didn't adjust my MFP goal at all but I did do the calculations on BMR and TDEE. I guess I don't follow the eat more, weigh less exactly. I just try to eat back all of my exercise calories and…

I eat most of my calories back. I have mine set to lose a pound per week but I lose 2 or 2.5. I burn a lot of calories in a week, like 3500-5900. I would say that you should eat back your calories. You have already set your calories to lose weight each week. Your exercise is extra so use them up. Also, don't rely on the…

I weigh but I hate it. I feel like I am tied to a scale! Sometimes, I know I feel better and my clothes are looser. I step on the scale...and nothing. The defeat I feel affects me more than not knowing so I have no problem skipping it. I don't do p90X but I am a runner. I also work full-time and have 2 kids. I am also in…

I love Hip Hop Abs. It is upbeat and fun! I find that staying motivated is my biggest struggle. But after years of trying and failing, I know what works for me. I pack lunches for work and I do it the night before. I plan out a weeks worth of meals and snacks, so I know there is something at home to eat. I limit all junk…

I am 33 and a mom to 2 kids, one with special needs. In addition to trying to be accountable for what I eat, I am training to run my first marathon (also my first ever race). I work, go to school, attend appointments for my son...and a million other things. I do have my calories set to a little over 1400, but I eat back…
