I'm a CNA in nursing school! One more semester left. I worked at a nursing home, and just recently got a job at a hospital. Good luck to you!!

I didn't actually do it, just a story I found...but it is an idea for next time someone asks me a dumb question!!

I will have my Associates. Its a 2 year degree. Diploma is 3 year but I dont know of anywhere that still does that around here. Bachelors is 4 years. I plan on getting my Bachelors degree next and then my Masters. I'm not sure yet but I've been thinking of becoming a nurse practitioner.

1. Im in the US at a community college for my ADN 2. There are certain classes you have to have taken before starting the program (computer skills, basic chemistry, math). You take a test to get in over biology, math, medical terminology, etc. The difficulty of getting accepted just depends on who else is trying to get in.…

awesome!!! Keep it up!

That's awesome. Great job! I've noticed I'm kind of in the same kind of situation with sweets. A while back I would have ate too much and now only a small amount, if any. Keep it up!!!!!

I have heard of it also but don't know much about it. I'd like to hear from someone who has used it.

You are looking awesome! Way to go!

I would try to do 3 meals. I think your plan sounds good.

Logging things helps me stay away from the "bad" food. Not always, but definitely has helped at times. I log everything, unless I forget about something & would rather put up healthier foods than the junk. Also after eating better for about a year now, I feel like crap after eating mcdonalds or something, that before was a…

I agree! I thought Zumba would be fun. I hate it. I go to the gym and don't really like it, but I've found that if I have my ipod, the music keeps me occupied enough to get in a pretty good workout. I don't dislike it as much as I did when I first started. I definitely understand though. I hope you find something you like!

I check in quite a few times a day, sometimes spend a good amount of time looking through the forums. I'm sure I spend too much time. At least a couple hours a day I would guess.

I completely understand. I'm doing this for me, but some recognition from someone else would be nice occasionally. My mom always says how much weight I'm losing, but I would like for someone other than her to notice. Keep it up!!!

I am tempted IF the stuff is in my house. I buy alternatives. Sugar or fat free chocolate pudding (80cal), sugar free popcicles (15 cal), yogurt. I think it makes it easier if I don't have the other stuff to tempt me.

Amazing! Looking great!

MIO. its a new water flavor-er. Its called a water enhancer. Its pretty good & has no calories :)

Hello! It gets easier to navigate the site as you go along. The calories can add up very fast! I also used to eat only once a day & sometimes still do :ohwell: It does get easier to spread it out, it just takes some time to get used to. Good luck. I'll add you.

Sometimes it can take a while to start losing. When I first started it took me a month or so to see any lost weight. I actually gained weight at first! Keep it up and you will lose it!
-
Definately!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I guess I'm more of a big picture kind of person. I'm not giving up, I want to be able to say "I lost over 100 lbs and look at me now!" Its not just the number of course. I think today is just a "down" day. Tomorrow is a new day :)!

And all the ones that I've had are under 200cals.

Fiber bars (fiber one, fiber plus, etc.) are amazing! I eat one for breakfast almost every day & it keeps me from feeling hungry until lunch time or later.

About 30% of your calories should come from fat. Not enough fat is bad for your body.
-
Good for you! I feel intimidated by the free weights and always stick to the machines

I'm not a nurse yet but I'm in nursing school. Crazy schedule!!!
