Weigh yourself wearing the same clothes, on the same scales, at the same location at the same time of day. Most people go for weighing naked, first thing in the morning after going to the bathroom. Put your scales on the same spot on a hard floor (not carpeted). Your "real" weight is a range anyway so don't stress too hard.

Nice job!

Yes but mfp gave you that number based on the info you gave. Did you select 2 pound loss per week? Might be too aggressive?

Are you sure you are logging how much you are eating now correctly though? If you aren't weighing all solids and measuring all liquids then you may be eating more than 1200 cals now, increasing your calories whilst not logging them correctly is not going to help if inaccurate logging is a problem. Watch out for dodgy…

You didn't start gaining weight because you started eating more fruit and bread, you gained weight because you ate more calories than you burned. Have you considered that you might feel the way you do because paleo is not the right thing for you in the long term? Maybe eating a broad range of food in moderation, track your…

Are these doctor trips day trips or do you have to go a long way, like overnight? Is having an Eski with your own food and snacks in it an option? Would make tracking easier. Do you have issues with big fluid shifts due to your renal issues and/or the pred? Could that be a problem?

Progesterone and relaxin are two pregnancy hormones that are loosening up ligaments so that you can push a baby out of your pelvis. All your joints become less stable as a result and more prone to injury. Good advice from sardelsa. You sound a bit panicky about losing your fitness. I think when the time comes you will have…

MFP put you on 1300 calories based on how much you told it you wanted to lose per week (Did you choose 2 punds?). Plus MFP calculates NEAT not TDEE. NEAT is the amount of calories you burn in a day going about your normal activities without exercise. TDEE includes the exercise. Two different things.

I work in ICU. If it was me and they were recommending removing my gall bladder because of pancreatitis I would do it. When things go acutely wrong with pancreatitis they go very wrong, very quickly and it is a slow, extremely painful thing to survive and some people don't survive. I would focus on getting better and…

When I see the ads for the neoprene type ones that proudly show all the sweat, I can't help but think of all the bugs and fungus brewing in those things eeewww.

Maybe it was some sort of pickled cabbage and the person entering it left that bit out.

Totally an apple here. I completely agree with scolaris. No special apple diet required, just lose weight and it will eventually come off your gut. Same way you heare pear shape people complaining that their face has gone thin or their boobs have vaanished but their hips are still wide. My personal experience with PCOS and…

Congrats, I have PF too and it sucks

Can I ask how tall your are? You have done a great job. Your body shape is very similar to mine (except that I am currently your before photo).

I find it interesting that one of the criticisms was that the show didn't show ordinary people and was just about weight loss and now that in Australia they have made it about transforming your life and showing cooking etc and included people who are overweight rather than morbidly obese and now nobody is watching it and…

Just wanted to add that ethical vegans (as opposed to people who have bought in to the Durian Rider, Freelee style health BS not based in any sort of science or research on the alleged superiority of a vegan diet over all others) don't necessarily make any claims about the nutrition/quality of dairy. They are concerned…
-
Paleo people also don't do dairy because apparently it was hard to milk mammoths
-
I kind of find it bewildering how veganism has become about all this Freelee and Durianrider and co crap (I am so embarassed that they are Australian and also I can't understand how people watch these two and decided to take advice from them, they are clearly unhinged and just making stuff up as they go along). Veganism…

I can't find the reference but I was reading that in the case of people who have never tried to lose weight before and haven't done any research that in general, men will start exercising but don't change their diet and that women will tend to restrict their diet but not start exercise...another cultural thing I guess.

I often think when people are saying they haven't dropped a size yet that perhaps they have been staying squeezed into clothes that were too tight initially or clothes that have streatched past their original size. Or maybe that is just because I know that is what I have done....

By stats people are asking for height and weight as well as activity level

90 divided by 28 is the number of serves. Or if there is a per gram option change to that and enter 90

I have never been able to figure out which comes first, the depression and anxiety or the weight. Am I obese because I am depressed and anxious or am I anxious and depressed because I am obese? I am currently the heaviest I have ever been and also feel the worst I have ever felt. I know I feel better when I am exercising…

Why are you aiming for such a low body weight? You are already at a healthy weight for your height?
-
As an aside if you are planning on veganism as a long term lifestyle you will need to think about how you are going to get vit B12.

If you don't do something about your emotional and mental health and attitude you can lose all the the weight you want but you will still be the same person on the inside no matter what you look like on the outside, and speaking for myself and I am sure many others, someone who is so focused on their appearance and others…

I am an apple shape and I have found I have 'threshold" weights. I lose weight from my butt and legs but my waist stays the same, then I drop below a certain weight and my waist suddenly shrinks. So I spend ages stuck in one size and then drop a size quickly. My top half is always at least one size bigger than my bottom…

Also google weigh more look thinner and have a look at the images. Plenty of people on there who now weigh more but look thinner after getting to goal and finding they didn't like how they looked and started lifting/kept lifting

Thanks for your SES work, you guys/girls are legends.
