There's one in The Hairy Dieters Eat For Life book around 300 calories.

Good morning! The 2lb drop I had didn't last! Back to my plateau weight with still4lbs to go until I am within 'normal' BMI but I feel good and more so knowing that it's not far off. Buying new scales both kitchen and bathroom has been a sound investment for me, who never used to weigh myself! Now I pop on each morning but…

Fantastic! Love the Beatles T shirts.

I seem to have gained 2lbs but not stressing about it as I haven't over-indulged! My gall bladder has been playing up a little hence my weird diary of snacks (dry cream crackers and extra strong mints) I've not exceeded my calorie allowance so hopefully the scales will realise soon. Just flying by to wish Holly a Happy…

Yesterday I made some Greek yogurt by straining Aldi (UK) no fat plain yogurt through muslin into a Kilner/Le Parfait/Mason jar ....worked a treat. I'm going to get back to making my own yogurt which I loved but just got out of the habit. Before that I used Fage plain no fat Greek yogurt which at £2.29 a carton is pretty…

You could also grow some salad on your windowsill http://www.thompson-morgan.com/vegetables/vegetable-seeds/salad-seeds/salad-leaves-speedy-mix/4790TM

Aldi's rice cakes are also excellent - only 27 calories each. (Forgotten price - around 65p ish I think)

Do you have an Aldi? They have some excellent fruit and vegetables which are considerably cheaper than the other supermarkets (well Sainsbury's that I know of!). Aldi's largish tub of fat free yogurt (plain) is around 59p - I've strained some tonight to make fat free Greek Yogurt which was delicious. It's very versatile.…

Wanda - Congratulations on your Normal BMI!!! That's where I am hopefully heading. Felt unwell yesterday so didn't really feel like eating. Hopefully I can be more normal today. Weighed myself this morning (couldn't resist) and down another pound. Lovely photos of Lake Garda, Jean - the lakes in Northern Italy are so…

Just stepped on the scales and I am 1lb down since my last weigh-in. In the kitchen I picked up the 1lb weight from our old-fashioned scales and, although 1lb doesn't sound much, 1lb in the hand weighs more than I'd visualised! I've decided to log the miles I do on my stationary bike and, so far, it's only 8 miles - but…

I've a Postman Pat mug (now pushing 30 years old!) - You've inspired me and I'm going to drink my tea from that from now on to see what difference it might (or might not!) make. Thanks for the smile best wishes from Little (?) Miss Giggles.

Leslie Sansone is on Youtube - worth a look.

Great idea. I am just going to aim for the goal of losing 5lbs and fit exercise around as and when. I try to use my exercise bike for a bit each day but yesterday had gallbladder pain in the morning which made me feel exhausted for the rest of the day so I don't feel, at the moment, that I can be too rigid about exercise…

Hi I'm 63 and have been logging calories on MFP for a few weeks. I need to lose weight and get fitter generally. I had some severe gallbladder pains for 3 weeks in March and the experience has given me a kick up the rear. As a result, I'm following a low-fat diet and have lost a few pounds already and am feeling so much…
