Definitely something along the lines of an aerobic water class where she is in the pool and has no stress being put on her knees! They are great for beginners and burn a lot of calories. I wouldn't recommend walking for her since it seems she may have some knee difficulties.

You can't really predict how many lbs you will lose a month. Some months you will loose some 10 but some months you may only lose 3, it really depends on your body. But it is possible to, it just depends on how willing you are to commit to your goals and plans.

Agree with what everyone above saids ^^^^! You really should be taking two rest days a week in order to achieve optimum muscle healing. But hey, everyones bodies are different! Some heal faster and others take longer. Just do what you feel is most natural.

I personally eat back my excersise calories only if I am hungry. If your not hungry, then don't eat. As long as your hitting your calorie goal or going above it, then your fine.
