Well Fab Fivers... want to form our own challenge group? Although the past 2-3 weeks have been complete chaos here -- the good holiday cheer-sprinkles-and-laughter chaos.... I admit to also wanting to have somewhere to log my minutes. Because we all have such varied exercise habits, I'm not sure what the format would look…

I chose to do the Nemo challenge because I need to switch my routine up; I've been doing lots of distance over the past 3 years. I need to transition to more strength... still looking for something to motivate me in that department! @MissionEnforcer (tagging you if needed) 6-9 inches of snow expected today, basketball for…

M-W were super long packed days! Let's just say three 12-14 hour days is enough this time of year!!!!! Today was a bit better! I really won't have time to do challenges until Sunday, but I will; I'm going to do Nemo and first challenge then. For the last challenge, 8 choices I want to continue: 1. Viewing my life through…

@rusgolden -- a note of thanks for your positive leadership! I have been doing some extra minutes this week to try to support the effort! Finished the first two exercise challenges today. I am a positive person... and if you can't say anything nice...... let's just say it's taking all my energy to NOT say ANYTHING about my…

300 stairs in today 2 of the dances done -- oh how I hate dancing. I gotta get this one finished so I don't have to get cranky thinking about it. Well under calories today. Also revisited my friend Jillian Michaels today. I think I hate her too. Or, perhaps I am hangry.

I DID IT! The last 5K I ran was 1.5 years ago; I had completed C25K and had worked really hard. My goal was to run the whole thing in under 45 minutes. My time ended up at 38 minutes. Yesterday I ran the Turkey Trot 5K in Madison. I hadn't done a very good job of training for it; daylight savings really limits my time to…

Yay!!!! I have been registered for Madison's Turkey Trot 5K for months!!! I"m thankful for 1- My best friend; my husband. He is such a great partner, I can't say enough good about him!!! 2- My 2 wonderful kids; age 8 and 11. They are growing up into such wonderful people, they amaze me. 3- My health, since dropping 75ish…

I was thinking about half.... but.... I entered 2 hours. That was probably the total time I spent doing intense cleaning; the rest was just... sorta normal movement. Wow, we are in 3rd place! Other teams are really stepping up their game! The week ahead looks so great for me with regards to this challenge; I am signed up…

Advice needed: Today was a DEEP cleaning day here; I spent 8 solid hours scrubbing baseboards, vacuuming, mopping, moving furniture, washing windows.... I even scrubbed the water softener and pipes (I'm NOT crazy, we are hosting both Thanksgiving (20 people Thur) and a wine tasting party (55+ people Saturday) -- my husband…

I didn't get all the challenge points last week, but I am going to work triple hard this week. Tonight while the youngest was at 1.75 hours of dance practice I took a 1.5 hour walk; a mile or so of running and over 4 miles walking. SOOOOOO.... Got lots of minutes AND first challenge done!

Oh, this week stunk. I'm glad it is over. Jumping challenge done a little each day. Still working on arms.

haha, too bad this Wi girl house has more Bear fans (2) than Packers fans (1)... and a 9 yo that doesn't care!

Over an hour of tennis with the family and all challenges complete today!

I'm wondering if I should give up my spot to someone who might get more minutes? 30 minutes a day (average) is likely what I"m going to be able to do this time of year; most of you do 3-4x that! I hate to hold you back. For the record, twice this week I've worked out ONLY because I didn't want to enter a zero on the…

It's a new week! This morning I took some time off from work and got right to challenges! Watched all 20 minutes of videos while riding my bike and did the morning stretches. Plan to do squats while I get some housework done...

Can someone post 60 minutes for me for the day?

Phew. Been super busy this week, not able to get to spreadsheet until now b/c of traveling! Today I hit the step goal; Luckily, there are two levels of the conference and we were on the ninth floor of the hotel! Also snuck in some videos earlier in the week. Working on the snacking... we'll see if I can get that in;…

Done with all challenges. Looking back at the week, I wish I could have contributed more... The four blank days were 14+ hour work/meeting days, so as much as I'd like to beat myself up for not exercising those days... I'm going to be grateful that I did what I could on the remaining days. Upcoming week looks mildly…

Today is the first day I've been home for more than 3 awake hours in a row since the challenge started. My intention is to get the drumming challenge done, and go for a run. Luckily, the water challenge and friend challenge was easy to do at a busy work week! Right now, I"m enjoying a beautiful fall sunrise in Wisconsin.…

2-13 hour work days done. 8 hours of Parent/teacher conferences and I met with 6/100 students' parents. No exercise the past 2 days, but I did get 3/3 water days in! Life sorta resumes tomorrow; hope I can squeeze in a run between school and an evening meeting. Cross your fingers for no rain!

Hello Fab Five (my vote!) Got in a quick walk tonight, the next two nights are parent teacher conferences, so I won't have time to exercise until Thursday. 1. I have sent requests to everyone not on my list, @MissionEnforcer -- all but 2 have responded. As for me, I am from near Madison, Wi. I live in a small town and love…

Hi team 5 - About 2.5 years ago I Iooked around and realized how lucky I was in life, and I could find no reason to be unhappy except for my weight. I finally had the mental energy to devote to myself, and between April '14 and Dec '15, I lost 92 pounds. My goal was to lose 120, but in that time I went from a completely…

Jones' Turkey Sausage Patties -- YUM!

OIY, for this week we are currently in LAST PLACE!!!! I'm aiming for an hour tomorrow, or hopefully more to help bolster our position! Come on team! We are awesome, we can do better!

Killed it this morning! I had a GREAT run -- an hour, the weather was gorgeous, I had the road to myself, I enjoyed it thoroughly! Then I continued that beast mode in the garden -- 3 hours of picking, ripping out pea vines and fences, weeding, digging up the dirt.... By the end of the morning, I was a sweaty mess of mud,…

Today was not a good day for me minutes-wise, but tomorrow I have big plans! A long, big run then HOURS working in the garden. We are picking peas and raspberries, then I am ripping out 6 rows of peas and their fencing, a few rows of lettuce, digging garlic, and beware any weeds that show their heads -- they are doomed!

Oh, my post was all in good spirit! I was just putting out there that I tried, I laughed, I will try again! I'm so not a complainer about work others have done for my benefit! Yesterday I put in an extra 41 minutes to try and earn us some points. Today I'm going to try and get up to an hour of work done in my basement: the…

Oh my, have you tried the highland dancing yet???? OIY. The first video is this corny kids' lesson which felt like... not even exercise. The second video made me crave zumba. I think I mostly just alternated jumping on one foot then the other with some flailing thrown in for laughs!!!! I'm about half way through the reps…

Back from vacation! Ready to try this crazy pile of ... weights and Highland dancing???? Luckily we have a huge raspberry patch, so I'm all on for that aspect of this week's challenge!
