Have you adjusted your goals lately; periodically I go back in and get MFP to recalculate my goals based on my current weight. But most importantly just stick with the program you'll get there eventually!

Actually I think we both posted simultaniously; and I made the same spelling mistake too

The only "food" class that I was warned about (by the Hematology Clinic) was alcohol, and I specifically asked about other "foods". I would suggest that "eating healthy" is the best advice, and personally I would avoid any "extreem" diets. I've also been told that too rapid weight loss can stress the liver.

When I went to the specialist they thought I had Fatty Liver Disease; but I didn't I have an auto-immune condition and so I have to take immune-suppressants to keep me from attacking my liver (sort of like having a liver transplant without the operation ) Fatty Liver is still a concern and is part of the reason why…

The only Suppliment I've ever had any problem with is Salmon Oil Capsules - if I burp after taking one I get this explosion of "SALMON" taste/smell

My Mom used to make braised cabbage (it was so amazingly good!) She would cook shredded cabbage in a pan in vinegar and some sugar (not sure of the proportions) until the cabbage was translucient and starting to caramelize. I was just thinking that you might be able to just braze the sauerkraut as is... I'll have to try…

I chose 200lbs as my goal, according to BMI I should be in the 140-180 pound range but I just can't see getting that low. I do see 200lbs as being achievable and a good weight for me and my frame. I figure, when I get down to 200, I'll reassess and if my doctor and I think it is reasonable I'll aim for something in the…

Thanks for the recipe; I don't normally worry about sodium, however, I was curious about the sodium content given this thread so I plugged the recipe into the tool here on myfitnesspal and got 1 oz serving (asuming that 2 pounds of flank steak will give you 8oz of Jerky) had 1442 mg Sodium... there are lots of variables…

I really like pistacho nuts (25 ~= 170 cals), I take my time and eat them one at a time, the shells slow me down which helps, in fact I would say that any shelled nut is better because it will force you to pace yourself...

Sounds to me like you might have freezer burn... If it is freezer burn, there is not much you can do, but in the future try and ensure they are well sealed with no air (I love my vacume sealer).

I know this from quitting smoking - every time you try you will get better at it, don't look on failure as an prediction of the future, look on it as an opportunity to be better at it the next time. You do not even need to consciously understand; you will remember what strategies worked best and incorporate them in. Good…

I know I'll be devastated when I loose my two. Grief is important. Try and remember that your cat had a good long happy life. I just did some poking around (google) and found this site http://www.petloss.com/ it looks like a good place to find some support but I can't vouch for it. Take Care
