Today, while resting between sets, I looked in mirror and saw a change. My lower legs have been retaining water for a long time. My limit was to be 3 drinks a week. Got frustrated with family - Ram Das says 'If you think you're enlightened, go spend a week with your family". Mine lives with me. Anyway, ended up with 4.5 glasses. 3 of them in one evening. Gack. New week, new goals. Thanks for being here.

Well done! In WW they'd say if you can just put off eating whatever junk it is you want for 10 or 15 min the craving will pass. Perhaps it's the same with alcohol. The title for your book, "Driving yourself sober".

Never give up. It's always a challenge to get back into the gym after a break. just thinking about it makes me tired! LOL But soon I'm like Pavlov's dog feeling something's wrong if I don't get there. Take it easy going back. Be gentle with yourself.
