  • 5/22 .. 162.4 (yesterday weighed 163). Yeah. Walked around farm field trip for 3 hours on a beautiful day and ate wisely.
  • 5/20 163 Same as yesterday. Did about an hour's worth of weeding and a lot of standing in kitchen cleaning and cooking. Here's hoping for a lower weight tomorrow morning.

  • Been gone for over a year and, boy, have I gained. Starting back working out and tracking food. I'm at 163.8 as of this morning. My goal is 140 with muscle. Happy to see this thread is still going strong.

  • My goal is moderation after an almost daily habit of a glass of wine or two. After maybe 5 weeks I'm having nights where I don't even think about wine so I feel like the gate is open and I'm running free.
  • Add some good protein powder and greek yogurt. I agree with spinach. It tastes great in smoothies.
  • Went af all week and had my wine with dinner yesterday. It was great going down - tasty/ 3 glasses later - my weekly allowance - I didn't feel so great afterwards. I thought about what other people have said about feeling the influence faster since they've cut back.
  • Frozen lemonade is delicious - an AF margarita or daigarie. I used to drink them when pregnant.
  • I think Peaky Blinders is even worse. They're drinking straight whiskey constantly. My son asked 'How do they get anything done?"
  • Made it through this week. Tonight is the 5th day AF. When watching TV and people are drinking, in the past I'd think, 'Mmm', I likey.   • Perhaps join some meetups that focus on things you're interested in: reading, exercise, whatever you like. You might make some friends there that don't depend on alcohol to have a good time.
  • Wait and maybe you'll want something else: a massage to celebrate, or a facial... there are options.

  • Made it AF for 7 days. Had 2 glasses with dinner last night. Enjoyed but not as much as I'd anticipated. (scratching head) Here's to a new week. I believe in my ability to make healthy choices.
