  • Good for you....don't wait until you're in your 50s like I did to get healthy!
  • Checking in for June... only 3 drinks last night (vodka and 0-calorie Arnold Palmer iced tea, tasty). Sticking to no drinks during the week...and down a bit this week, so I think my plan is working. Have a great Sunday everyone!
  • Try biotin supplement (comes in different brands). I have friends that swear by it for hair loss (also helps your nails)
  • Sounds good. Also, be sure that eat healthy foods. It can be tempting to fill up with not-so healthy foods to meet your calorie range. Try to get lots of veggies, lean meat, etc. Protein!!
  • I've had a Tanita digital scale for a few years now and love it. It's the first scale that I've owned that really seems consistently accurate. I think I paid about $35 for it on Amazon. When I was looking for a new scale, I researched on line what other people liked, and this brand got consistently good reviews.
  • I agree. I think it depends on how many calories you burn during your exercise. If you burn a lot, you probably should eat at least some of them back. If you burn, 100-200, probably don't need to eat them back.
  • Hi everyone, I've had my lap-band since March 2010. Although, it can be challenging, I do not regret it for a second. It really is just a tool to help me lose the weight, but what a great tool it has been for me.
  • Good luck with your surgery. I got my lap-band 3/22/2010. Love it!
  • I'm so glad I found this topic! I do love my wine and vodka, which is probably why my weight loss has slowed down so much. I'm really trying to limit my drinks to weekends now so, hopefully, I can see the scale move again.
  • Hi, I was banded in March of 2010. Even though my weight loss has slowed down (mainly because I put of getting a needed fill), I don't regret getting the band one bit. Best thing I've ever done for myself. I just got a fill, and I starting logging my food through this site to get back on track. Hope to lose the last 36…
